The location was perfect for our trip. It was quiet, peaceful and a beautiful setting. Breakfast items were left in the fridge and included fresh eggs, juice, homemade jam and local honey. A fresh loaf of homemade bread was given to us each morning that was amazing!! We were greeted by the host and shown to our bungalow even though we arrived after dark. The bungalow was clean with soft blankets and towels in each room. The host was friendly and provided us with a tour of their farm and allowed us to use their laundry facilities during our stay. We will stay here again on our next trip to Australia!

The owners were friendly and helpful.

The owners were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing - such a choice in the provisions that were supplied! Cooking facilities meant we could cook the bacon and eggs; croissants were humungous and very fresh! Yummy!! Although it was a cold night outside, the studio was very cosy - heating worked well and electric blanket warmed up the very comfy bed. The location was very peaceful.

Dixons Creek is a 10 minute drive from the closest town, Yarra Glen. It is a very picturesque and quiet location with many vineyards to choose from for meals and to sample wines. Yarra Glen has plenty of food choices and a lovely town to discover.

It was a lovely cottage getaway, the scenery was beautiful,...

It was a lovely cottage getaway, the scenery was beautiful, and it was easily accessible, I stayed there as I had a wedding down the road and it was a peaceful, pleasant stay, I think it would be great for couples looking to get out of the city. I think however the lack of wifi services might turn away young customers who are looking at longer stays.

It was a lovely cottage, very quiet and comfortable. The host was very helpful and provided us with home-made bread and jam as well as cereal and timtams. It suited all our needs . Great country hospitality.

I loved everything about Dixon Creek, the beautiful cosy...

I loved everything about Dixon Creek, the beautiful cosy cottage, the very beautiful owners, how close the place was to the wineries, chocolate factory, garden sanctuary and lovely restaurants to choose from for fine dining, couldn't pick a better weekend getaway than this.

Rosaline was our host and she had the fire ready upon arrival so we could be warm. The breakfast was a wonderful spread for us to prepare in our own kitchen - eggs, bacon, loaf of bread with butter, cereal and chocolate biscuits (home made jam and honey from Bees on the property) Lovely BBQ area next to the water. I was happy to find a spa in our bathroom also. Lovely outdoor area where the stars were very clear at night (beautiful) Little pony greeted me when I woke up and went out the back.

Location. Premises was beautiful. Bed was comfortable. Shower was great. The didn't likes below are more just recommendations based on hundreds of hotel stays we have done in the last few years. Overall it was an excellent location.
