Hosts were super helpful and met us at the property. They went out of their way to help us out with questions and locations for our photography shoot. The location was close to town and backed onto a beautiful part of the river. The breakfast was well stocked and was all we needed.

Had a one-night stay in one of the Red Rattler Carriages for our wedding anniversary and we had an awesome time! When we first walked into the carriage, we just could't stop saying "how cool is this!", it was such a unique and memorable experience, and we are of the age where we remembered riding in these old trains. It was a 35 degree day so we really enjoyed a swim in the pool (had it to ourselves), then chilling in the air con of the carriage. We drove into Dungog (less than 10mins) for a couple of meals and kicked back in the carriage with the complimentary bottle of wine, cheese and crackers. The location is great, beaut scenery, peaceful, and there were so many personal/nostalgic touches in the decorating of the carriage. The bed was comfy, and the carriage is surprisingly big! Highly recommended!

Location, for pub accommodation it was ok, the noise from downstairs not too bad as they closed at reasonable time.

This exquisitely renovated guesthouse provided every comfort you could ask for and more. Just examining the restoration work was sufficient reason alone for a visit. The owners have done a magnificent job preserving this bit of Stroud's history while at the same time providing a well-equipped place to stay.
