Location on a farm/ranch. Very quiet. Excellent hosts, shared part of an afternoon with them with a glass of wine.

The cabins were spacious and very clean. Loved the location as it is right on the water's edge of the dam. I liked that the cabins weren't too close to each other, and they were positioned at angles that you're not looking into each other's windows. The fire kept us warm day and night. It was so nice that we didn't need to worry about wood for the fire either. We liked it was away from the Town but only 10 minutes away if we needed it and it was central around lots of National Parks for walks.

A good location for a hassle-free stay in Ballandean, Girraween Country Inn is a bed and breakfast surrounded by views of the garden.

We were expecting a plain motel with no facilities, we found a huge open site filled with gums and pretty gardens, outdoor draghts/chess board, fire pits, volley ball, basket ball, table tenis and soon to be pool too. We arrived at 3pm and had a lovely afternoon stretching our legs round the site and unwiding after our long drive. Very pretty location if you like bush scenery and being outside. Beds and rooms were cosy and everything we needed for comfy overnight.
