Friendly staff. Holley at Reception was very welcoming. Although Check-in was at 3pm, as we had informed we would be arriving at ard 11am, Holley got a room ready for us to check-in early and enjoy the resort facilities. Welcome drink was tasty and my kid enjoyed the welcoming experience. Pool and salt water lagoon was the highlight of the stay. Excellent spread for buffet breakfast. Definitely recommend staying here again.

Quaint hotel and very clean - the beach and walking path right in front - can't beat it! They also have bikes you can borrow which we highly recommend. Carmel was amazing and gave us lots of great ideas of what to see and where to swim. She was so friendly and really helpful. We highly recommend this hotel!

Breakfast was delicious - a great array of food to choose from! Our room was ready for us to check in early and the later check out of 11am was fabulous. Location so close to the terminal meant we could check our luggage in for our flight and sneak back to the hotel for one last drink before our flight - this avoids the chaos of busy airport terminals!

Absolutely love the Gold Coast, so much to do and see, it’s the only place we go to for holidays, Hate having to leave and go home, but we also need lovely clean appartments, not dirty filthy and mold, going out to my favourite place to eat called Longboards, sell the best burgers, chips and drinks, they are amazing so beautiful itting around the huge pool in booths, there’s the tram for traveling to clubs and going into the main shopping places, and going to the Gold Coast show was awesome so many rides,

Easy to bus or tram also hiring a car is very good as it’s well sign posted and great for driving inland and exploring. We drove to Tropical Fruit World which was easy and not far from Coolangatta. A very good place to visit either for families or couples. Excellent tour with fruit tastings. We really enjoyed it. Drive thru to Tumbulgun on the Tweed River banks which has an old Pub for lunch great then back to Coolangatta a different route. Very easy and beautiful drive.

Australians have high standards and know how to enjoy...

Australians have high standards and know how to enjoy themselves. The Gold Coast has something for everyone and is very safe. Beach, bowls, walking, jogging, cycling, rugby league, events, live music, top notch dining, access to Brisbane which is well worth a visit. Trams, buses, trains are 50c a journey, you don't need a car to navigate the whole area. Travel to Brisbane for $1

Recommend 3 nights in Brisbane to explore along the river...

Recommend 3 nights in Brisbane to explore along the river walks and waterways, 8 nights in Surfers to do some of the Theme Parks on multiday ticket which is very minimal extra than a Day Pass. Buy a Go Card as public transport ie buses, trams, and trains payment is cashless and only costs 50c a ride no matter the distance. Remember to tag on and off to avoid a really hefty fine if caught without doing so eg train from Brisbane to Surfers only 50c! I would rate transport being the easiest to master in the World. Virtually impossible to pay anything by cash. Even booking tickets and supermarkets mostly cashless! If you are keen on walking this is the place to be in winter months as one can go along a well formed walkway all the way from Seaworld all the way to Tweed Heads!

Special deals include all theme parks under sea world umbrella - absolute game changer for cost The buffet breakfast is amazing and the staff are amazing too ! The access to sea is told and all the amenities and choice of restaurants is amazing.. don’t expect cheap food however its value for the convenience is there. It’s worth spending the extra money on food at convenience - and the massage room is not to be missed - perfect environment for young kids and adults

Sunday check-in using a lock box. No problem. Room was on floor 3. No real view but it sufficed for our stay. Bed was really low which was a surprise, however, it was comfortable. Having the tram stop outside the Hotel was great. A very cheap and efficient way to move around. We loved the tram and train. 50c fares are a bargain.
