Boasting a bar, The Australian Hotel Murgon is located in Murgon. This 3-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with a private bathroom. Guests can enjoy a meal in the restaurant. The manager was so amazing and friendly, the staff in the pub were lovely, the food was awesome. Very quiet and a lovely little town.
Featuring a saltwater swimming pool, a restaurant and a barbecue area with outdoor seating, Wondai Colonial Motel is just 2297 feet from the Wondai Heritage Museum. A great motel with a really lovely pool. The room was beautiful with very comfortable beds, clean linen and towel and a great air conditioner. A quite place to stay pretty close to the middle of town.
Staple House Bed and Breakfast offers free breakfast and free WiFi. This renovated Queenslander-style home is set among picturesque grounds. Staple House is far beyond my expectation. It’s so comfy, spacious and beautiful, decorated with exquisite antiques and has everything you need. Mr. Jones is a very kind and generous host. We were welcomed warmly when we arrived. And he gave us as much information as he could. The location is great, not far from towns like Kilkivan or Gympie, but where you can enjoy the picturesque countryside scene, especially the breathtaking dawn and dusk. Recommend strongly!
Located on Booie Range, Hillview Cottages feature picturesque views of the farmland. A 10-minute drive from north Kingaroy, it offers free parking. We loved EVERYTHING about Hillview Cottages, wish we had booked longer because it is stunning and Dan & Sharlyn were such a wonderful, caring and compassionate couple. A big congratulations to them on running such an incredible business for 3mnths! Here is to many years to them running an absolute stunning business!!!
We decided for new year this year to go to the bush and give our dollars to small communities that need our business, we enjoyed our stay, we visited the Goomeri rodeo on new years eve that was well run and well supported. All in all, very happy we decided to support the small bush town this year.
The Goomeri Hotel was a great place to stop and have a beer and meal. Took a drive around town looks to be a lovely place. Didn't have a lot of time there as we at a family event. Want to go back
We were at Goomeri for a night time function. The motel was handy to where we were going. It was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It is not the first time I have been to Goomeri as we have friends that live there.
Congratulations to the citizens of picturesque Goomeri, who are proud of their town and ensure it is well-presented and well-maintained, despite the fact that the decline, affecting all small towns in the region, has meant that shops are empty and important services have disappeared.
This a beautifully presented facility, high quality in every aspect.
