The location of the Quest is easy to find and close to a Woolworth. It offers secure parking for a small fee. The High Street is just across a small park. Griffith is fairly small and sleepy but makes a perfect stop beyond Melbourne. The wifi was excellent and the whole set up was perfect for teleworking and conferencing.

Griffith is a big Regional City of NSW.

Griffith is a big Regional City of NSW. Well known for plenty of wineries and Italian communities. Lots of italian restaurants. Bertoldo's Pasticceria on the main Street (Banna Avenue) is fabulous. There is a lot of street art in Griffith CBD - grab a Mural trail map from the Tourist Info Hub.

We didn't enjoy the circular central streets as per Walter Burley Griffin's copy of Canberra. (We like them straight and in a grid.) However, we found the whole area seemed prosperous and very busy.

Griffith is a surprise of a town to visit with so much on offer from some of the biggest names in wineries, to museums like The Pioneers Museum, to sights like The Hermits Cave and amazing restaurants and shops with beautiful local produce, surrounded by orange groves and vines. I wish I’d spent more than a night there.

Lovely clean town with an impressive main street loaded with eateries and restaurants of all categories. It's a fun place with a multi-cultural atmosphere. The food, wines and local produce are second to none. Can be quiet during week-ends in winter but can be over-busy in summer with countless festivals and gatherings.

The Pioneer Park and Museum was absolutely mind boggling- such a huge collection of old buildings and machinery- we got there at 11am and left at 4pm- amazing what they are doing there. Take your lunch with you as there is no cafe on site and only snacks available. Ate a fab meal at Little Italy.

The town of Griffith is great for foodies.

The town of Griffith is great for foodies. Some good restaurants, great wineries. We particularly enjoyed the Calabria Winery. We also went driving around to look at all the farming areas around Griffith, so much more than just oranges. We both said how much we loved the area and could easily live in Griffith.

Stayed at the Econo Lodge Griffith Motor Inn and it was a great choice for a short, comfortable stopover. The beds were super comfy, the air-con worked perfectly, and parking was easy and convenient right outside the rooms. Short walked to the shops so convenient. Staff were friendly and welcoming, making the stay even better. We also ordered the sticky date pudding from Kolours—by far the best I’ve ever had! A great spot for a relaxed and enjoyable stay in Griffith.

We absolutely loved our stay and Jen and Richard the owners are such amazing people. They made us feel so welcome and comfortable. Their property is stunning. We have booked for next year again for my mums 80th birthday. When we head to Griffith I will always try and stay there unless it is booked out.
