Beautiful part of Australia to visit, amazing waterfalls with great walks through the mountains , Great photos as the scenery is beautiful Good place to unwind. I would suggest if you are coming to supply some of your own food as the food at the local supermarket is very expensive. We ate dinner at a few different hotels they were OK for the price. food was a bit ordinary.
Plenty of walks to choose from depending on your ability. Great Mini Golf course to spend some time at, suitable for adults & children. Great range of accommodation from Hotels to Caravan Parks & B&B’s
Be wary of seperate cabins/accomodations within a single building, if you get the next-door-neighbours from hell there is no escape... Otherwise a beautiful area with abundant wildlife and some great local cuisines. The Zoo is fantastic for kids and the Giants winery and the olive farm up the road are a must.
Beautiful place went for a couple hikes, had a lovely beer and food at the Paper Scissors Rock Brew Co, great coffee at Livefast Cafe. Beautiful drive in and out of Halls Gap, anyway you look at it Halls Gap has something for everyone.
Gorgeous little town with almost everything you could need, although most shops including the take away and petrol station are closed by7pm, even in the school holidays. The grocery store is very well equipped, but get your bread early if you don't bring your own. Naturally, the attractions are in the Grampians and the many amazing hikes you can take.
Huge choice of accommodation at all levels Nice cafes and restaurants Beautiful hikes and walking tracks Great galleries and wineries Friendly locals Loved Spirit of Punjabi Halls Gap Hotel and great breakfast at local cafe
Excellent place to stay with kids. A lot of space inside and outside. Playground near the house. Good Wi-fi. Kitchen with everything you need. We arrived around 10pm and air conditioner was on, so it was warm inside. Logs for fire place already in house. Zoo 10 min drive. Halls Gap 20-30 min away. Owners are very friendly. I would like to stay there again.
Excellent location to everything you want to do in Halls Gap! Had a wonderful time hiking and seeing the sights of the Grampians. Motel owner was fantastic, super friendly with lots of great advice in what to do, where to shop/eat and hours of operation of the town (she also told us where to go to see kangaroos:))
The owners were very friendly and helpful. Location is great - very convenient to Halls Gap and the Grampians national park. The property has a lot of charm, with alpacas, goats, emus, kangaroos and a resident peacock. The rooms are well set up and comfortable, and the WiFi was fast and reliable.
Everything. We stayed for two nights. The speaker system is awesome, we spent the most of out time in the house and just enjoyed the relaxing weekend. Strongly recommend to fulfill the little water tank in the front to attract wallabies and little birds.
Everything you need for a short-term stay was provided. Very comfortable, especially after a day of hiking. Luxury bed & spa! Roaming native animals. Walking tracks nearby...and so much more!
Excellent location, just at the start of the halls gap hiking pathway. Kangaroo companion am and afternoon. Remarkable view with the mountain hugging you. Comfy beds. 1 minute walk to the shops.
Private accommodation. Quiet. Had all the amenities one needed and more. Loved watching the kangaroos coming and going. Easy walking distance to everything in Halls Gap town.
Great location as it is right in the center of everything. Many birds around house and great fun for kids. The house is big for large family. Highly recommended!!
Free tennis rackets, movies and bicycles to use whenever you want. Not many cabins so these were always readily available. Friendly staff.
The location is awesome with plenty of family friendly activities. The Electric bikes that you can hire at halls gap are a must do!
This is great for a family who want to self cater. Reasonable tariff and attentive owner. Comfortable and in centre of Halls Gap.
Plenty for the kids to do. Close to the halls gap zoo. Spacious, comfortable and cabins aren't too close together.
The scenery is amazing. The kangaroos and birds are just in front of the house.
The house is big enough for large family The place is every quiet
Great private location a short trip to Halls Gap
The house owner Lindy is very nice.
The luxury and the spa
The location is absolutely sensational at the foothills of the mountain. I slept the best I have in a long time due to the stillness of the valley and the excellent set up of the cabin. The stars at night are incredible! The lady at check in was so kind and made us feel so welcome. This property was perfect for exploring the Grampians. We did a wonderful walk up to the lookout in the morning. Overall we will definitely be visiting this property again. Thank you :)
Well located near Halls Gap in the Grampians. Lovely campsite with it’s own pool, which was great for cooling down. Kangaroos and emus on the site, so fantastic for wildlife spotting too.
It was clean and comfortable very friendly staff
