Offering a splash park with super slides and swimming pool, North Star Holiday Resort is just 5 minutes’ walk from a sandy beach and estuary. The staff were very friendly & professional, the bed was very comfortable, the cabin was very clean with everything I needed. The resort is in a great location with plenty of good facilities and well maintained.

Located just 492 feet from the beach, each of these spacious apartments feature a private balcony or courtyard. Guests have access to free car parking and an outdoor swimming pool. Roomy, clean apartment suited our picky family of 2 Adults and 2 Teenagers. Aircon worked really well. We were in an apartment near the road which wasn’t noisey but could imagine how good the views would be closer to the water. Was a short hop down through the mangroves (sandy not muddy) at ebb tide and we floated down the estuary. Was lots of fun, surf was good, creek extremely family friendly and overall a great vibe. Lots of local places to eat or get takeaway. Will definitely stay again.

Located on the Hastings Point beachfront, this 2-bedroom apartment features a balcony with sea views. The spectacular views, being beach front, the very very comfortable outdoor furniture, leather lounge and bed, and hearing the non-stop ocean waves breaking nearby (even when all doors and windows closed), and very private (not able to hear the neighbours). The unit had everything we needed for maximum comfort.

We, my partner & l visited Hasting Point for a relaxing weekend with friends. Had a lovey time at the beach inlet with our pool floats, followed by an enjoyable stay at the North Star Holiday Resort.

Very relaxed family atmosphere.
Very relaxed family atmosphere. The river was fun to float on with the tides. There were paddle boards to hire but we didn't see the rental van until our last day so not sure that it was there. Not advertised on any websites for the area. The headland was beautiful for picnics.

Hastings point is amazing . The complex was amazing . Unfortunately the owners have just let things slide . Mattress was appalling, Matt’s to wipe your feet were horrible given so much sand around. Even the single bed mattress’s sucked . Just spend a little money and make it lovely . Surely this isn’t your first bad review . The complex run by others was amazing . They are amazing onsite managers . Maybe change it t up

A very convenient location with easy access to to all sights...
A very convenient location with easy access to to all sights and activities from Byron Bay in the South all the way to the Gold Coast which is a very short drive Cross the border. Hastings points is a nice quiet place making for a peaceful stay. Cabarita is only 3.3kms away providing easy access to a supermarket and plenty of eating places to choose from. Pottsville is also in close by offering additional alternative. There are ample coastal look outs which offers spectacular views of the coastline.

Beautiful little township.
Beautiful little township. Perfect setting for short getaway or lengthy holiday. Ocean water is crystal clear, stunning shades of blue and aqua. Stunned mullet was a lovely dinner for family with fussy eaters. The walk up to the top of headland is an easy 5min walk and so worth the effort. We stayed at Northstar resort and could not fault it. Excellent staff, and activities for all ages of children

Great holiday camp for us grandparents travelling with three grandchildren aged 9,12,14 Great pools and slides. Games room was a bit dated and not everything worked but it occupied us during the even8ngs. Cheap video hire for a rainy day. Super river and sandy beach just across the road from camp.
