Positioned in the center of town, the Healesville Hotel features a gourmet dining room with a seasonal menu and an extensive wine list. Beautiful atmosphere and vibe. Enjoyed the lighting, decor, music, old style, high ceilings, beautifully laid out rooms. Nice outdoor area, bar and restaurant area. Lovely all round.
Located in Healesville in the Victoria region, The Old Mechanics provides accommodations with free WiFi. Fabulous location - walking distance to the main street, restaurants & shops. We stayed in the studio upstairs - it was quiet, well appointed with plenty of room in both the bedroom & bathroom areas. Love the garden area for a quiet drink & relax. The Old Mechanic in total has been gorgeously restored. All dealings through bookings.com & with Donia (owner) was smooth & access on arrival was a breeze. No hesitations in returning for another quick getaway.
Graceburn Gardens is set in Healesville. Free WiFi is offered and free private parking is available on site. It is a 1-hour drive from Melbourne. The grounds were spacious and full of beautiful plants. The house was very tastefully decorated and quiet. Breakfast was great, and the hosts were very welcoming and friendly.
Located in Yarra Valley, on 5 acres in Healesville, Sanctuary Park Cottages provides rustic self-contained accommodations offering beautiful mountain views. The serenity of the setting, the modcons in the kitchen, the space to roam and spotting wildlife. The proximity to the Yarra Valley and in particular the wonderful Healsville which is a gourmet's paradise.

Deville At Healesville features picturesque views of the Yarra Valley. Just 5 minutes’ drive from Healesville Sanctuary, it offers BBQ facilities and a billiards table. The whole place was very clean. The ambiance was very peaceful and relaxing. The host was very accommodating as well. As soon as we arrived at the property, someone was already there to greet us and we were given a small tour of the place. It wasn't hard to get in the property and as soon as we stepped inside, the place had a very homey feel. Would definitely come back if we visit Healesville again.

Good place to stay for winery tours. You can also visit the distillery for a tour. If you are with kids, or if you are a child at heart, you can visit the Yarra Valley Chocolaterie, Healesville Sanctuary and the Hedgend Maze. If you would like to have dinner or lunch, I would recommend the River View Cafe. If you to chill and drink while you eat souvlaki, Spinners Souvlaki would be the place to visit.
An excellent little getaway from the city life. All the locals are very friendly and there's a mean parrot called Charlie! A good variety of shops and cafes to browse in the main town and a magical view of the mountains. Wonderful food and a range of art galleries and hikes are only minutes drive away. Favourite place has to be Monroe's burgers, I'm allergic to beef and have a hard time getting a good chicken burger but this was great! Onion rings were also fabulous and sweet and crispy till the last bite.
Beautiful ! Nestled within the natural bushland surroundings. We woke to the sound of the birds in the trees. We were met with kangaroos on our walk beside the lake. Healesville sanctuary was a highlight, such a delight .
Plenty of cafes and interesting places to browse. Unfortunately, Innocent Bystander has moved nearby but no longer does breakfast :( and Giant Steps is a bit too upmarket for a casual meal. Four Pillars gin palace is great for the end of a hard day wine-tasting in the Yarra Valley
Healesville is a nice friendly little town in the Yarra Valley, it has all the facilities and some great eating places. Highly recommend Herd Bar & Grill, great food. We love the Healesville Sanctuary, it's worth the visit to Healesville just to go there, especially if you're a bird lover.
Healesville has many great places to eat and browse. Close to wineries. Don't forget Yarra valley dairy and the chocolaterie. Four Pillats is really great. Melba estate was snooty and unwelcoming for folk dressed for holidays.

We stayed in the Tree Tops apartment for 3 nights in late March. Spacious apartment, nice wooden deck. Generous supply of breakfast foods provided, including fresh bread from bakery! Never met the owners but they provided easy instructions for check-in and out. Great location in Healesville just off the Main Street, easy to walk to town, and easy to drive to all of the surrounding Yarra Valley.

Very close to the sanctuary and we walked to the zoo and had fun for a day. There are buses go from the sanctuary to the downtown healesville too. The place is quite nice for 3 of us. The main bedroom is very nice and the bed is very comfortable, but the spare beds in the living room are not as great as the one in the bed room. Kitchen equipment very helpful at winter night too.

Stayed here recently over the long weekend at The Mountain View cabin, not only did we have the most delightful time away we just felt so relaxed in such an incredible spot in the hills. Every morning we were woken by amazing wild animals (birds, sheep, wombats) outside our window, it was such a wonderful view and farm to discover. Will definitely be back, the owners were just a phone call away and incredibly helpful. The house was full of homey touches that made the stay extra welcoming. Loved every second of it. Massive thanks to Eddy and Phuong
