Hobart is a beautiful city that you will immediately fall in love with. The mighty mountains are feast to the eyes, especially in their snow covered looks. The city stands unique with its rich history and historical establishments. It is also a city of art and architecture. Hobart is definitely an ideal travel destination. There is a lot of good restaurant around Hobart. Specially Salamanca market is a good place to eat.
Didn't like the crazy traffic, loved the Botanical Gardens and Mount Wellington. We used Hobart as our base for 3 nights while we looked around other areas so it is a good base for exploring Southern Tasmania
MOFO was about to begin and there was a excitement vibe within the city. Although cold and rainy, Hobart presented itself as very welcoming. We would have liked to see more restaurant options within the CBD.
This is a unexpected little modern city in Hobart with all the amenities and retail therapy needed after a 5 day road trip starting from Launceston through the coast-to-cradle. Great little city for the outdoor enthusiast, the have well stocked shops from the Kathmandu, MacPac, Mountain Equipement and more. Make this either your first or last stop, and time your trip to see the live Salamanca market which only is a Saturday.
Loved Hobart! It is a very pretty city with all of the old buildings. There was plenty to do and reasonably priced tours. Walking the streets at night to look around felt safe. The food is delicious.
I love the fact that there is so much history within easy walks. Hobart is a brilliant place for a short holiday, with direct flights from Perth on Mondays and Fridays. If you enjoy walking and just want to experience Hobart, you don't need a car.
Location is great, very central to public transport, shops and eateries, and a short walk to TMAG, waterfront, Salamanca Place, Battery Point or the Botanic Gardens. Room was basic but quiet and with a comfortable bed, tea & coffee facilities, bar fridge and ensuite. Staff were wonderful, so friendly and easy going. Price seems a bit expensive for such a basic room but it's not as dear when you compare with hotel prices in Hobart!
Great location in CBD; close to many restaurants and shops. Short walk to the harbour. Ideal for business persons or mature people requiring short term stays. Not a family hotel. Apartment was clean and neat but design overall not well planned. Limited storage for clothes; no suitcase rack. Quality bathroom, good towels. Great bed and pillows. Large TV, 55 inch. Free parking for members.
Hobart
One of the great attractions of this place is the staff. I have been coming here for some years. The rooms are always very clean and well provided. It's not the five star hotel location, but the staff service and kindness always is. Would highly recommend. A little out of centre of town, it's walking distance to North Hobart cafes and the city shops and services.
Hobart
Easy booking and confirmation. It's very close to the city centre and beside an entrance to a beach for a beautiful walk in winter. We are a family of 5 adults and 2 children and we find the 2 bedroom apartment spacious, very clean and with comfortable beds. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything that we needed. Host is very nice and friendly. Thank you, Ted
Very surprised by this hotel. Unassuming facade but the interior was very modern. The artwork was carefully chosen. The beds were too comfortable I want one for ourselves. The pillows varied in density and firmness which gave us options to use. The water pressure was spot on too. The wifi speed was the best we've had in Tasmania. The staff were all polite and friendly.
Hobart
The apartment had everything we needed, as we came by plane, and limited to what we could bring. Everything was there, even a bottle of wine on the table when we walked in. The fridge had food for breakfasts, and lots of snack food, bread, cheese, milk etc. The view from the front door/dining table was perfect, looking over Hobart and the Casino.
Location and price. We arrived at Hobart Airport - got the Airport Shuttle Bus in to Hobart and it stops just outside this hotel. It is very central to everything and we could just walk across the Salmanca Markets. Also the fact that breakfast was a cooked one in a beautiful setting was just great for the price.
This is a beautifully restored building. Always a favorite place to stay when visiting Hobart. Great size rooms and the staff are always so efficient and attentive. The hotel is right on the waterfront and within easy walking distance to everything. Definitely worth paying the little extra to stay here.
Hobart
Great little self contained apartment. Everything we could possibly need was provided, and we appreciated having a washing machine. Great location close to Salamanca and short walk into the CBD. Comfy bed. The apartment looked like it was recently updated and was nicely appointed.
This is a beautiful hotel in the best area of Hobart. We have stayed in this hotel on many occasions and this was by far the best it has ever been in terms of decor, cleanliness, kitchen facilities and friendliness of the owner/manager.
Hobart
We loved the place and hope to come back next time we are in Tasmania. It was exactly what we needed after a Christmas staying with the family. I recommend this for any couple wanting to go away and spend some quality time together.
The location was perfect for strolling around Hobart city, visiting restaurants and bars and Battery point. Great for Salamanca market and all the waterfront in Hobart. The hotel building is unique and excellent design ideas.
I loved the central location of the hotel right on the waterfront with Mt Wellington looming behind. The view from the room was glorious - who wouldn't enjoy the sweeping view of the docks and the Derwent River.
The apartments have everything you need to be self contained. Secure luggage storage is really helpful, as was the lounge to use while waiting for convenient SkyBus transfer to airport..
Hobart
Convenient location central in Hobart. Great to have the feel of an apartment but benefits on a hotel. Staff great. Serviced daily to a high standard. Parking and a pool with spa too
A really luxurious two-storey apartment within walking distance of the pubs, cafes, restaurants, boutiques and supermarkets of Sandy Bay, but also a short walk into Hobart CBD.
Hobart

We like the comfort of the whole villa room. It is great for a family of 5 and with a toddler. Location from Hobart CBD is only 5 minutes drive.
Hobart
Staff were welcoming and helpful. Hotel was 20 minute walk from Hobart CBD. General store nearby.
Everything was so clean, new and the pool was divine! Not many hotels in Hobart have pools.
