A beautiful little city.
A beautiful little city. It is great to stroll around and look at the colonial architecture. Great nature walks nearby the city. It’s easy to get out of town to all sorts of wonderful spots like Bruny Island, Port Arthur, Freycinet Penisula and many more. Hobart is full of great coffee spots, cafes and other eateries.

I live in northern Tasmania. Hobart is our modestly sized capital city in the south. It is a city that is easy to navigate with absolutely MAJOR historically important Australian cultural sites within a couple of hours' reach. Most people do not realise that Hobart is Australia's SECOND settlement after Sydney, older than Melbourne. Food is amazing. Culturally exciting.
