Hotel in Jamberoo
Located in Jamberoo, 3.8 miles from Jamberoo Action Park, Ananda Wellness Retreat has accommodations with a restaurant, free private parking, an outdoor swimming pool and a garden. Loved the facilities and restaurant. Vegan breakfast was fantastic and staff were super accommodating and delightful. The locality was perfect as we wanted to visit the waterfalls and Kiama, then come back to resort to enjoy the pool sauna and restaurant. The dinner at the restaurant was outstanding! We will definitely be back.

We booked the delux VIP suite. The bathroom was not clean. There was black hair on the floor ( I have blonde hair) the bed was rickety and creaky and i was concerned it might break. The people above us were so loud we were woken up at 6am on Sunday. The spa bath was dirty, i had to clean it before we could use it. There was what looked like snot of the bathroom wall tiles. The grounds were stunning but you cannot connect to the wifi as both passwords dont work. No mobile reception with telstra even though they claim to have telstra boosters all over the resort.
Beautiful part of the country, lovely people in the village, booked last minute accommodation which for the price paid could have been better. The Jamberoo Pub was great for a pub-dinner. The bakery was great, superb laminations, bacon and egg roll and coffee. Local IGA and news agent - very helpful staff. Ofcourse the water park was awesome with a 10 and 12 year old
Dirty - dirty hand marks all over the walls, holes in walls, dirty fridge, brown pillow covers, toothpaste smeared down the bathroom wall, patio area dirty and covered in debri, cobwebs and the room stank of cigarettes and musty stink that we could not get rid of. We ended up checking out 2 hours after checking in and leaving due to the dirtiness. So disappointing given that it is called a ‘resort’ it’s a BAD motel at best! Wi-fi was non- existent anywhere. Go elsewhere would be my advice.
Leaving the property was by far the best thing. Room was filthy, complimentary milk was open, no soap products available in dispenser, 'luxury king bed" was 2 single ensembles pushed together with a dirty stained doona on top whole set up squeaked n creaked if you breathed too heavily, towels were dumped on the bed with no pride or presentation, when we went to fold the sofa out there was a collection of beer & wine bottles shoved in it. In the whole I honestly believe sleeping on the street with our children would have been more hygienic. We have bad many trips to the resort and a family & for our honeymoon, this was definitely our worst & last. Absolutely disgusted.
All staff were very kind and helpful. Especially staff, Farth was very supportive. Even very early morning when we needed something, he was very kind and helped with smile. Breakfast was simple but we really enjoyed. Location is really good too, close to Jamberoo action park and rain forest. We also enjoyed swimming pool, sauna and spa.
