Located in Lake Cathie, 11 miles from Port Macquarie, Little Palm Cabins has a garden and free WiFi. The location was perfect, the grounds were very nice. We used it as a base to do some site seeing. Jess was very welcoming and nothing was a problem for her.
Saltwater Apartments offer breathtaking 180 degree ocean views with absolute beach and lake frontage. Port Macquarie is 8.7 mi from the property. Free private parking is available on site. The apartment was clean and spotless . all the amenities were available and fully stocked up. we were here for a stop over and really enjoyed a good nights sleep. The view just outside the property is amazing. The keys were ready and communicated well.
Located in Lake Cathie in the New South Wales region, White Beach Cottage has a terrace and mountain views. Everything. A very comfortable place to stay with many appliances to suit the needs within a home. Plenty of space both inside and out. Outside decking with lovely greenery for pleasing the eye. View across to the ocean. Close to nearby supermarket and local attractions for region. A place to stay and linger.
Located in Lake Cathie in the New South Wales region, Middle Rock Beach House - Beach Front, Lake Cathie features a balcony and sea views. The comprehensive check in and pre booking contact etc from owner/ rental company was good. The house was exactly as portrayed (great) and the kitchen extras were beyond any rental accommodation we’ve experienced. The very generous gift’ basket was much appreciated but the standard of utensils, kitchen appliances and pantry items was outstanding. There’s been a lot of thought put into making this home comfortable and special. Frankly the best ever!
Located in Lake Cathie in the New South Wales region, Salt Breeze features a balcony. A beautiful house across the road from the beach and walking distance to shops. It had everything we needed. The separate unit downstairs was perfect for two families if needed.
We were there for a family get together. Great house for this purpose. Short distance to beaches and shopping centre. Plenty of spaces for relaxation. Lots of lovely eating places near by. Garden Centre cafe at Bonny Hills does a great breakfast.
Lake Cathie is a very pleasant holiday town. The people are very friendly. The weather is mostly fantastic. It had been in a long term drought & had fires threaten the town but luckily whilst I was there it poured rain & brought much relief to the town. I come here regularly so look for suitable accommodation well before I come. There is a great variety & cost variety to choose from. Beaches are to die for. Many attractions in the local catchment area 😄
Lake CATHIE has unfortunately become silted up and is now a sand filled depression with stagnant brown water in the upper reach. The village is feeling the economic results of no longer attracting tourists but tries to offer its residents and the passing traveller with the essentials such as a cafe, hotel, pizza, bakery and Chinese takeaway. It is sad that we could no longer safely access the once tidal lake but Bonny Hills, North Haven and Port Macquarie are close by for swimming and fishing. We hope Lake Cathie is not going to become a lost waterway. As we are seniors who suffer from arthritis in our knees, and have a little dog, we found Lake Cathie not as comfortable for walking as places further up and down the coast.
We chose this place specifically because of location and we were not disappointed. The view was spectacular and watching the sunrise from the comfort of the lounge was a beautiful way to start each morning. The room was clean and set up with all you could need. The bed was extra comfy and even the pillows were great. Matt greeted us upon arrival and made us feel welcome and farewelled us when leaving. The property has a great heated pool and even a spa which we enjoyed as well as walks on the beach and swim in the surf. We stayed 5 nights and could easily have stayed 5 more. Local shopping center has all you need for supplies and a short drive to Port Maquarie along the costal road was a nice day out. This is the most perfect place for a quiet peaceful and rejuvenating getaway. We highly recommend it and will definately be back!
We were not here for a holiday so we didn't get to see lake Cathie other than the drive to where we we were staying. We would definitely like to come back and holiday here and stay in the same accommodation.
Lake Cathie is not very busy and only a short drive from port Macquarie where all the hustle is at! Such a good place to just walk around and get lost in time with beautiful views everywhere you look. The Lake its self is not looking very pretty as we are in a drought and council seem to be doing nothing about or care to do nothing, which is a shame as its such a lovely place and is spectacular when it is in full swing. Such a wonderful coastal town with beach everywhere. Bonny Hills is only next door and Laurieton a 10 min drive away. I wish I could of stayed longer. Beautiful nature walks with paths and for the more brave explorers a lot of tracks through bush land.
Everything. A very comfortable place to stay with many appliances to suit the needs within a home. Plenty of space both inside and out. Outside decking with lovely greenery for pleasing the eye. View across to the ocean. Close to nearby supermarket and local attractions for region. A place to stay and linger.
Nice little cabins but avoid cabin no 1 which is on the main road and very noisy at night. All of the other cabins are probably fine.
Love Lake Cathie walking on the beach walking distance to supermarket and cafes
Close to beach and shopping centre. Good for visiting friends in Lake Cathie
Staff friendly and efficient. The beach tent had all we needed and more with view of the ocean. Premises were spotless.
