All good. Nice room, helpful staff. Felt a bit isolated as you had to do everything next door. But Quiet lovely room. Shower with no door a problem with water going everywhere but excellent otherwise

something really likable about this place. Yes, it’s grubby, and the toilet is around the corner, and the bathrooms are staggeringly unclean. It’s charming though. Raffish, a bit of dodgy atmosphere-not in a scary way, just in a “if these walls could talk” way. Wooden verandahs all around, all sorts of funny little corners with a groups of tables and chairs looking over the red dirt and the dry scrub of Longreach. Set up for more vibrant times, but or now I believe that I may have been one of two or three occupants. The share kitchen was a great favorite with the ants, and my tip for future guests is bring some ready made food with you. The ants haven’t worked out how to open the microwave door yet.

Absolutely wonderful stay at Saltbush. We were greeted by a lovely, friendly man (his name escapes me) who gave us a great recommendation for a butcher so we could get some steaks for dinner. The entire place is cozy and rustic. We didn’t use the baths but they looked so cool! Rooms were spacious, our cabin looked out onto some grass with kangaroos grazing, which was a delight for our 9 month old. It had everything we needed, including wine glasses, I only wish we’d bought a bottle from them!
Highly recommend, we had a lovely little stay :)

The room was clean, tidy and the a/c worked well. I liked the rain shower head, instant hot water and the proximity to the town.

We visited the Qantas Founders Museum, The Stockman's Hall of Fame, the Powerhouse Museum and did a Sunset River Cruise, followed by dinner under the stars at Smithy's facility, where we were entertained by a lovely lady, singing country songs. We drove around the local area and explored. We dined at Harry's, The Branch and The Longreach Tavern - all were great, especially Harry's and The Branch.
There is nothing really that we could say we didn't like.

Many iconic attractions such as the Qantas Museum, Qantas Museum Light Spectacular, Stockmans Hall of Fame and Thompson River Cruises. We had dinner at "The Branch" on our last night and it was fantastic. Great food and fabulous service. 5 Stars

There was nothing I didn't like. Just wished I'd stayed longer. There is more to Longreach other than the Qantas Founders Museum (which was the only reason for visiting initially). I can highly recommend Longreach to all those who are unsure whether to add it to their bucket list or not. I will be back.

So much to do we had 9 days and could have stayed 5 more, great variety of activities to do, too many to mention. Really enjoyed Qantas Museum and Stckmans hall of fame. The boat cruises were very enjoyable as well.

We went to everything on offer and nothing disappointed. Attractions, staff and amenities were all first class. Town was large and had lots of excellent pubs and restaurants, as well as shops for browsing.

Having the restaurant is a big plus. It provides beautiful meals both breakfast and dinner. The motel is centrally located to the town centre, which is a hive of activity on a Saturday morning. Visitors be aware shops shut at 12pm on Saturdays. Longreach is not overpriced and the businesses are very welcoming. We will stay again at the Longreach Motor Inn.
Disgusting. We made our reservation through bookings.com. Arrived after a long ride only to find longreach private apartments did not honour our booking. Yes we had a booking.com confirmation. Tried to contact booking.com to no avail. Still waiting to hear back.
