Mandurah is a fascinating and exciting place I’ve been an out of town resident a few times in the past,BUT —Taking to long working on the foreshore, every time I visit there’s areas cordoned off. But the new pool is great but still not shark proof !!! Toilets to far between for elderly to access quickly and not enough seating around the town centre. No near access for people in caravans or similar to get their shopping and take it to their vehicle. Seems the shire is intent on keeping travellers with larger vehicles out of the town centre. The caravan parking area near the tourist information is not large enough for the number of vehicles trying to access it Many times I’ve had to park my bus quite a distance away and walk a long way to get into town. It’s a shame to have tourists avoid the foreshore area because there’s no access for caravans etc.
Lovely beaches, dolphin cruise was beautiful and relaxing with lots of history, great restaurants and Mandurah forum shop had lots of retailer shops to cater for everyone's needs many attractions for children
On the Friday night we attended a Tribute concert at the Mandurah Performing Arts which was fabulous. This was the reason for our visit. Prior to that we ate at the Oceanic Bar and Grill. A great choice of Food and good value for money. Staff very friendly and helpful. A great place to visit.
We cone to Mandurah at least once, sometimes twice a year for r+r. We like it here. Great restaurants, beaches, hospitality. Marta at the Sebel was exceptionally lovely and always ready to help, with a fabulous smile. The D'Lights Cafe for breakfast is a winner. Plenty of patrons there prove that. Lily Paris is always on the go-to list for her beautiful French Pastries. Plenty of patrons there too! Both in Dolphin Quay. Not forgetting Sunbreakers on the Terrace for fabulous dinners!
It’s within easy driving distance from Perth. Laid back relaxed atmosphere. Good facilities. Shopping centre is excellent. Plenty of cafes and restaurants. Plenty of entertainment. Lovely performing arts centre which attracts great artists. Cinema. Boat cruises. Boats to hire. Nice areas to walk. Perfect for families along the foreshore.
We loved the beautiful quiet location of the property, with a balcony to sit and enjoy the fresh sea breeze. From the balcony we had a wonderful view of the ocean and the beach was only a short walk away. The beach house was very clean and well equipped with all that we needed. Checking in and out of the property couldn’t have been more simple. We are looking forward to staying there again some time in the future when next in Mandurah.
Dolphin Quay is a great getaway and only an hour from Fremantle. We've stayed at quite a few hotels there and they are all good, but Seashells has to take the prize. Friendly staff. right on the beach and top accommodation. It's worth the bit extra to stay at the beach Villas, so just do it. Thanks to Ben and Hanna.
The house and its amenities are excellent. The kayak especially is an awesome activity for our kids. Location is great, close to everything that we need. We got visited by dolphins everyday we are there, love it. The host is amazing and friendly, very helpful with all the info needed for accessing the house.
Everything - Location - house - water at front - loved all of it. Dolphins in the water black swans visiting Walk around the inlet. Boundary brewery close by.
