We loved staying here. Immaculately clean. So much to do. You could walk the entire lake and head to the beach. They had kayaks and a pool table. Loved the alfresco dining area. All of the staff were friendly. Would definitely return. One of the best resorts I’ve stayed at.

The beach is a must visit! So clean and full of locals.

The beach is a must visit! So clean and full of locals. Water temperature is amazing for swimming. Neighbourhood is peaceful and perfect for walking. Definitely do a bike ride along to the neighbouring beaches and stop at a local Cafe. Make sure to get supplies at a main supermarket before as there isn't a grocer within. Loads of bird life around and friendly locals with their dogs. The area is very well maintained and great for running. If you looking for a relaxing beach holiday to recharge away from the chaos this is it! Otherwise everything is a very short drive away.

If you are looking for a place to stay that is away from the main tourist spots, then this is the place. There are buses but you would probably need a car if you wanted to visit some tourist attractions.

We loved everything about our stay — the place was homely...

We loved everything about our stay — the place was homely and beautifully done up. It had everything we needed, and the pool right next door was such a lovely bonus. Everything was extremely comfortable. The lounge suite was a bit low for us "oldies" and could use a clean, but other than that, it was perfect. Highly recommended, and we’ll definitely be back!

A small quiet community beach area with cafes and...

A small quiet community beach area with cafes and restaurants aplenty. There are patrolled beaches that offer lovely areas for all ages. There are many levels of accommodation and even in not so good beach weather it isn't too far to travel to do sightseeing. The area is very close to Maroochy airport as well as local bus stops. There are major grocery shops as well as independent grocers as well.

Everything was great , location, apartment, Surf Air...

Everything was great , location, apartment, Surf Air Restaurant, facilities and staff. Unfortunately there was a lot of traffic noise from the David Lowe Highway late into it he night. The local cafes are good for breakfast and we had dinner in the hotel most evenings. Visited the Surf Life Club for dinner one night and it was good too. The staff at Ramada are very helpful and efficient.

It was lovely! Clean, quiet and well maintained. We travelled with 2 children and they had a pool and playground. Patrolled beach just out the front of the hotel next door that wasn’t too busy. The management team were so lovely, he took us on a small tour and then up to the apartment and made sure we knew where all the facilities were.

We have stayed at Marcoola 4 or 5 times and love the area. The property is at a great position with a lovely pool and direct access to the beautiful beach. The Surfair restaurant on sight is very popular with a great menu. Our host Mon was very helpful if an when we we needed anything and the Welcome Hamper was a pleasant surprise.
