Hotel in Maroochydore
Located in Maroochydore, 3.1 miles from Cotton Tree Holiday Park, Loea Boutique Hotel provides accommodations with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a bar and a garden. The place is very neat, super clean and well appointed. Furniture, appliances and fittings were new, modern and high quality. The beds were extremely comfortable. The pool was bright and the little cocktail bar serves cool drinks in the afternoons and coffee in the mornings. Were made use of the free bicycles to ride up and down the riverfront. I can highly recommend this place.

Kalua Holiday Apartments are located in Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast. Located just 164 feet from the beach, it features a large outdoor swimming pool and 3 barbecue areas. Great value stay for large 2-bedroom apartment just off the main beachfront strip through Maroochydore. Apartment across 2 levels with 2 bathrooms/showers, table and chairs on terrace out front, 10m from quiet little pool with attached `hot tub`. Fully stocked kitchen with oven, grill & microwave - all fixtures/fittings of the sort of quality you would get in a modern Aussie home. Internet & Foxtel (most channels) just fine. Only ac downstairs - with ceiling fans in both upstairs bedrooms - but easy to air whole apartment with big bug screens on windows and double patio doors on both levels, so even at 30C didn`t really need ac. Great quiet beach just over main road strip, sports bar, gelato/fish n chips shop, 2 Indian restaurants, McDonalds, all within 5 mins or so walk (great quality - we tried them all!) A little noise from the strip at times, but the price you pay for the easy walk to the beach - a must with younger kids! Would rebook 100%.

I love the whole of the Sunshine Coast, Maroochydore in particular. Love the shops and great places to visit, like Montville, Maleny and Eumundi market. It was all fantastic. It was hard to catch a bus for visitors without a Go card though. The property I stayed in was a little disappointing. The photos they show of the unit was nothing like my unit. And workmen were working on the unit below me all day every day, banging, hammering etc. Too much!!!
The unit was cleaner than most places I’ve stayed in Maroochydore or mooloolaba & even Gold Coast. I had a great feeling when I opened the door. The excellent ocean view could not be beaten. Lots of places to eat. Close to shops.
We always prefer the sunny coast over goldie. We met up with friends from NSW and toured the coast and Australia Zoo. Lots of great food to be found and it wasn't too hectic busy despite the Mooloolaba Triathlon running too. Recommend Spero at the wharf, Mooloolaba. Fantastic view and food!
good shopping not enough variety of restaurant but to be fair it is Covid time. Giggly Geisha is a good restaurant and very reasonable price .The othe place is Pums Thai restaurant. Japanese sushi restaurant is Ok for a quick lunch. Good cinema
The beaches, cafes and restaurants were amazing, although I do not recommend either of the surf clubs - the Alex one had a great Menu to choose from but the food was terrible, and the other one had a terrible menu to choose from, they didn’t even have the classic fish and chips. I wished places would stay open past 2 or 3pm for breakfast/lunch, too many places both outside and inside shopping centres closed far too early. Some cafes closed at 11:30am, while others shut doors at 1pm. If you want to get out and enjoy the food and coffee, etc. I HIGHLY recommend having a very early start to your day or you’ll have to wait until 5pm dinner time for other places to open doors or just be happy to stick to the usual Maccas, KFC, etc. If you do get up early, I highly recommend checking out ‘Cafe Venice’ and ‘Murray’s Cafe’, for breakfast and/or lunch. Cafe Venice is a bit more cash friendly if money is a little tight, while Murray’s Cafe has nice strong coffee some yummy biscuits and cakes AND is dog-friendly if sitting outside, they even have doggy bowls. BOTH have delicious food. I also HIGHLY suggest checking out ‘Orleans Restaurant and Bar’ for dinner if you have a bit more money to spend and want more of a fancy experience. The service is incredible and the food is very drool worthy. ‘Duporth Tavern’ for lunch and/or dinner is also a must. It has a really great atmosphere, delicious food at a reasonable price with a lot to choose from.
We loved our few days away at Cotton tree it was the first time that we had been there and will definitely be going back. We stayed at the argyle on the park which was across the road from cotton tree caravan park where we had a family reunion. Great place for a holiday 😊
Maroochydore
Staff were exceptionally helpful especially with COVID restrictions. They communicated well and were very welcoming on arrival Apartment spacious, clean, well appointed will great sea view. Convenient access to beach side, shops nearby and short enough walk to Cotton Tree markets, surf club, bakery, cafes ... The location reminded me of old style rural beaches and townships, albeit with apartments rather than bungalows (but walking area and parkland between accommodation and beach) Overall excellent value for money
Maroochydore
The location is great and we had a wonderful panoramic view of the ocean. The apartment was modern and very clean. We booked the Deluxe Three-Bedroom Spa Apartment with Ocean View, it is much bigger than most 3 bedroom apartments we have stayed in. The pool and spa facilities were really good and were not very busy, we used them a lot. It is located just a few metres from the beach and we could watch the early morning surfers! Netflix and Stan were another bonus!
Maroochydore
Perfect location. Corner apartment had great views of the East, North and West for spectacular sunrises and sunsets. Pool area was lovely, so was the games room and playground for the family. In the heart of Cotton Tree dining, retail and fresh local produce.
Maroochydore
The location was excellent in terms of both Cotton Tree and access to Maroochydore, Mooloolabah and even further away. The #600 stops right outside the apartments and gives you access to everything from Maroochydore all the way down to Caloundra.
