I thought it was totally in keeping with the surroundings & had every amenity I could possibly want. The picture windows facing the front yard kept myself & my GSP entertained by the parade of wildlife & the beautiful bushland scenery leading into the rainforest promised even more when we ventured out on our walks.

Mountain Blue Guest House was exceptional. I've stayed in a lot of places through Booking.com over the years, and this is right up there as one of the very best. From the warm welcome by our lovely hosts, to the beautiful house (spacious, full of character, and stocked with all the mod cons and practical items you could want) to the stunning location - it really was a very special place to stay. My personal highlight was sitting out on the veranda and watching the bird life - especially the swallows swooping back and forth to their nest. Highly recommended.

The rooms, host and extensive, beautiful and artfully decorated property and grounds were amazing! We especially liked that we were free to use the common rooms and facilities and to help ourselves to drinks and snacks - making it feel like it was our manor for a day! The room upgrade so that our rooms could be close together was a very pleasant and appreciated surprise. Had a nice time chatting with the host as well. Even the history and heritage of the building were interesting - read about the property itself and its artworks in books scattered throughout the property. =)
