Offering free WiFi and free continental breakfast, the historic Chalet Guest house is centrally located in the Upper Blue Mountains. Beautiful B&B filled with amazing artworks and old-world charm. Elegant and cosy at the same time. The guest rooms had a good size and the dining room was simply stunning. Having breakfast there was a major highlight, as cockatoos and other large parrots sat right outside on the windowsill, nibbling on the seeds scattered there by the owner. We'll definitely stay there again one day.
Pin High is a modern, 3-bedroom duplex close to the golf course at Blackheath and 0.6 mi from the town center. It is 5 mi from Katoomba and 25 mi from Penrith. The unit is equipped with a kitchen. Location was perfect. We saw snow on wake up. Loved the oven! cooked our pizzas perfectly. The house has older furnishings and appliances, which didn't bother us at all. Big bed very comfy, had a good sleep.
Located in Blackheath in the New South Wales region, Brantwood Cottage Luxury Accommodations features a patio and garden views. Brantwood cottage exceeded our expectations. The hosts had clearly gone above and beyond to ensure their guests’ comfort in their property. It was clean and very well maintained throughout. The kitchen was gorgeous and many supplies provided. We will absolutely return.
Featuring a balcony with views of the golf course, Stableford Lodge is a detached holiday home is set in Blackheath, 5 mi from Katoomba. Breakfast options need to be explained at booking. This is a problem for booking.com to sort. Hydro-Majestic -a very pleasant stay -- recommended. I was not happy with "booking.com" when I tried to book Jenolan Caves House . Next time I will avoid using this site.
We stayed at the Hydro Majestic Hotel which sits on the escarpment. Stunning views, good food at the restaurant, and the bar is not bad either. If you are after a coffee, head across the highway to Synonmous.
A quite location, serene gardens, the weather immaculate, and to Richard I travelled those roads on my Norton Motor cycle, 60 years ago. Regret the Great Western Highway, now is go. Go go, too much traffic, not your fault.the nick knacks, the huge diversity of framed paintings, artists, and the ceramic cases, pots etc. wow eeeee.thanks.
There was no lift to access the upper levels. No porters to take luggage up the staircase. The room was small, the bathroom like a cheap motel facility. The dining room was very well renovated .The food was acceptable but very expensive. The menu was limited considering the price
Location was great. Room was tiny felt like a shoe box. Bed was tiny. Windows had a beautiful view but didn't open. No room service, no elivator. Norhing supplied like they said, aka slippers and mini bar were non existent.
Great location but heritage listing impacts negatively on comfort and ammenities. There is no lift access and no one available to help with luggage. The check in / check out is done at the bar and inadequate for busy times. Heritage room is ridiculously small with nowhere to sit other than on the bed. Bathroom is cold and drearie with no separate heating. Room overlooked highway and train station. Overall not good value for money and not a pleasant stay.
