It was lovely, Cereal, yoghurt and fruit - this was unexpected, but very grateful as we had a very early start to the day. ANZAC Ceremony, then onto Parkrun, back to the property to pack up quickly to catch the Prospector back to Perth.

Well laid out home. The ensuite was a bonus. The kitchen was well-equipped and a delight to use. My room had afternoon sun (it was winter) The owner took the time to engage in conversation, which for solo traveller meant a lot.

Overall it was quiet good the air fryer was dirty,the freezer way frozen solid and the roller shutters were broken .. the managers were good when I bought it up and relocated to another room

The days we were there, there were staff shortages and none...

The days we were there, there were staff shortages and none of the hotels were open for food. The Chinese restaurant wasn't very good. The Wild Poppy Cafe was excellent for breakfast and lunch, all food fresh and home made. The Cinema unexpectedly did a good dinner (only place open on a Monday). We travelled to Berringbooding and Elachbutting Rocks, bigger and better than Wave Rock. Great road trip!

Visiting my besties.

Visiting my besties. Catching up with people I hadnt seen for years. The chemist and newsagency were my favourite shops, their products are gorgeous and different. I was fed by my friends. And didnt need to eat out. It was easy to drive around Merredin using my GPS. Walking was what I did most of. The weather was very hot.
