RiverSong Retreat is located 10 minutes' drive from the center of Millaa Millaa in North Queensland. It is 14 minutes' drive from Millaa Millaa Waterfall. Beautiful place and wonderful hosts. Excellent breakfast. If you are looking to spend a few days and relax in the tablelands, I highly recommend this property. One of the best experiences I’ve had
Featuring air-conditioned accommodations with a patio, MilaViews is located in Millaa Millaa. The property is 27 mi from Atherton, and complimentary private parking is featured. The house was lovely! It had everything we needed and the views of the paddocks and over the hills were just gorgeous.
The Canopy offers secluded tree house accommodations in ancient rainforest on the banks of the Ithaca River. All of the rooms include a hot tub and a balcony with stunning views. Super duper friendly owners, the house itself was amazing and the entire property! It was a bonus to see possums and other animals including all the birds and turtles on the property as well as the walking tracks and waterhole area. We also loved that there was already cooking oil, salt and pepper, tea and coffee in the cupboard!
🌿The property is very private - beautiful gardens and is on a river. The walk down to the river is steep but steps that are stable assist in getting down. Also Carina guided me down. The water is beautiful once down - and you are surrounded by pristine rainforest. I highly recommend this lovely property and your hosts are really welcoming. 2-3 days at least stay. Also the town Millaa millaa is charming - has a lovely gift shop - with coffee etc outdoor - indoor seating. I had a dog and we sat outside . Great coffee. Local pub. Post office - Beautician. 🌿
A beautiful village on the tablelands- a mix of rainforest and rolling hills.. We attended a small intimate wedding at Falls Tea House which was just lovely. The owners did a brilliant job We returned the next morning for a takeaway coffee and a loaf of just out of the oven bread!!
Explore Queensland’s own “Waterfall Way” Seriously this place is teaming with waterfalls and is a whole 10 degrees cooler than the rest of Tropical North Queensland on most days. Enjoy local produce at Mungali Creek Dairy or grab some pesticide free tea from Nucifora Tea Plantation. Millaa Millaa is Not to be missed if you’re coming to Australia.
Such a warm welcome. A beautiful place in the most beautiful place. The hostess was fantastic. Superb breakfast. Fresh baked home made bread. Eggs and bacon on arrival as we hadn't shopped.A tour of her piece of the rainforest that led down to where 3 Rivers met. Told us a bit about the rainforest etc. Very chilled and relaxing place.... a touch of paradise!!.... and the middle of no where.. it seemed. Lovely!
Millaa Millaa is a tiny, friendly village and a welcoming one. The pub was 200m from the guesthouse. You can walk around MM in 5 minutes and learn so much history. It is a one hour drive from Cairns, without the humidity and it is a magic place to use as a centre for visiting the Atherton Tablelands which are reminiscent, I imagine, of the 1960s!!
It is close to many tourist attractions. The main roads are very good. Some of the secondary roads are winding and narrow. Millaa Millaa is within close range of Paronella Park, Mamu Skywalk, Millaa Millaa Falls, Malanda Falls. Lake Eacham, Lake Barrine, Innot Hot Springs and many more.
