We loved staying at the Library Cottage. It was so beautifully adorned with vintage/antiques and everything was so clean and comfortable and cosy. We couldn't fault anything. We have stayed in many places in Tasmania, but this is absolutely 100% our absolute favourite stay ❤️

The location overlooking the river was amazing. The house was very comfortable with lovely views of the countryside and river. We loved the kayaking, the breakfast, the port, the fire and port in the evening. We wish we had another day. Everything was perfect.

Lovely modern house overlooking Meadowbank Lake. A very peaceful and comfortable place to stay, with beautiful views. The lake edge was a short easy walk away and there were sit-on-top kayaks with lifejackets available for guest use - great for watching wallabies along the banks of the lake. A full kitchen, good shower, and even some treats left for our arrival. We wished we could have stayed longer.

We loved the easy going pace of the place.

We loved the easy going pace of the place. The people were friendly and helpful about the knowledge of the area. A few nearby places to visit like Bothwell and Hamilton to make the trip interesting. The information centre at Bothwell is worth a visit.

The township is very nice and user friendly.

The township is very nice and user friendly. Loved the park, we picnicked there. The park had great cross training gear. The shop was central and well stocked. The church and rose garden pretty. I think a huge shed is being built there, hope it doesn't overwhelm the quaint houses.

Problems with booking on arrival as Ouse Hotel has no...

Problems with booking on arrival as Ouse Hotel has no affilliation with "Booking.com" so they had no record of our booking,luckily they had a vacancy. We showed our booking confirmation from "Booking.com" and they stated that they have had other travellers that have been turned away for the same reason.They have tried to have "Booking .com" remove their listing of the hotel from the website ,but have still not heard from them.

The food was fantastic and very reasonably priced.

The food was fantastic and very reasonably priced. Accommodation was cheap and good for our overnight stay. The only downer for me was the shower didn't have a door handle on the inside. I couldn't get out and was knocking for 10 mins before someone heard me and opened the door. All in all i was very happy with my stay.
