Located at the foot of Mt Perisher ski fields, guests enjoy free WiFi and a sauna at The Perisher Valley Hotel. Guests enjoy ski-to-door access, equipment hire and ski lessons. Staff overall were excellent, especially Matthew in the dining area. Food was also excellent. Best location on the mountain. Fantastic for kids.
Located at the base of Smiggins Holes ski elevators, Smiggins Hotel & Chalet Apartments features ski-to-door access and an onsite bar/restaurant. The room given to us for a family of 5 with infant was surprisingly quite spacious and the room was really clean. The receptionists was very friendly. The lounge was very well heated with the fire chimney...and we can just simply go out to the back of the hotel to play snow! Play tobangga..n skiing! Thats what our kids loved most! 😄
Located in Perisher Valley, 984 feet from Village Eight Express, The Man from Snowy River Hotel provides accommodations with access to a fitness center, restaurant, 2 bars, a steam room, in-house... This is an awesome property. Terrific staff, great location. Pub Food is consistent, plentiful and delicious. Restaurant food is simply amazing! I love this property!
Featuring ski in and ski out access, Perisher Manor Hotel is located just 66 feet from the Perisher Valley ski elevators. Guests enjoy free WiFi in public areas and some rooms have mountain views. Staff were fantastic, courteous and professional. Brilliant
Offering 2 bars and included breakfast and dinner, Ski Rider Hotel is 15 minutes’ drive from Perisher Ski Resort. A free shuttle bus runs 9 times daily to deliver you to nearby Perisher Resort. The property was situated in the right location, not to far to travel to the ski fields and not to to the town
Enjoy a heated indoor pool, sauna and on-site restaurant at Marritz Hotel. Excellent staff member in restaurant, Anna. Excellent service. Overall wonderful. Loved the rooms being so warm - excellent heating.

By Australian standards the skiing is quite extensive. Lift queues move quickly and the pistes away from the front aren't crowded. Everything costs a fortune. The snow gets a bit slushy in the afternoon.
Perisher truly highlights the vast beauty of the Australian Snowy Mountains. Regardless of weather, we always enjoy our annual trip to this wonderful place. Walking to Blue Cow from Perisher provides great opportunities to take some amazing photos, especially if the sun is out and there is fresh snow (even for terrible photographers like me - haha). Definitely worth the 5hour 'road trip' from the Central Coast.
Great place to board, the only downside is if you are staying on the slopes you can't drive to you chalet, you have to get the skitube and it's like $90 for 12 min trip. Just a lot of back and forth and fiddly transport issues.
Loads of terrain to explore. Easy runs so great for families. Only negative is that it was too busy and it lacks the culture that I love so much about Thredbo. Too many fast food joints and very limited healthy food options available. No village feel.

Silky and John were great hosts - the property was easy to get to - located at the top of the hill at Perisher Valley - a long way to walk for kids to get to the snow however they provide transport options at The Swagman Chalet. Very accommodating - when we arrived our family room for 5 was very very small so we ended up with another room which again was small however clean and warm. Breakfasts and dinners were fantastic - these were inclusive in our package stay. Property is great for kids with a Xbox, pool table and DVD's/TV room.

Excellent location and family friendly hotel close to express chairlift, Perisher Centre and Skitube terminal. Comfortable, spacious family room. Attentive waiting staff in the restaurant who capably managed the different sittings in a timely manner. Dinners were excellent; hearty, flavoursome and home-cooked style meals that exceeded our expectations. The food choices were family friendly and struck the perfect balance - well above a pub meal standard but not fine dining or pretentious.

Was the closest place too perisher with affordable accomodation,,it somehow came up saying it was Located in perisher valley however is still a good 20-30min drive from Perisher which was disappointing......other than that, for $400-$500 a night I'd have liked a refrigerator

Owners were very friendly and helpful in organising everything from changing our skilling lessons to another day, hiring the equipment and getting to the skiing place. Thank you Nick and Jenny. You looked after us really well. We had a great experience.
