Just a 2-minute stroll from the Port Augusta Waterfront, Comfort Inn & Suites Augusta Westside features an outdoor swimming pool and BBQ facilities. The room was the cleanest motel we have ever stayed at. The bed was SO comfortable and it was lovely having a dip in the beautiful pool. We couldn’t fault our stay.
Located in Port Augusta, at the corner of Eyre and Stuart Highway, Crossroads Ecomotel is a newly built Eco-friendly motel with energy efficient buildings constructed from rammed earth and SIPs with... Clean comfortable close to pub reasonably quiet and amazing staff
Majestic Oasis Apartments is located in Port Augusta, overlooking the waters of the Upper Spencer Gulf. Very nice, large comfortable apartment with a washing machine and dryer (which was very handy for our road trip).Nice pool and only 30 seconds from the supermarket and petrol station.Just aa short drive from mount remarkable national park and Whyalla beach-which are both well worth a visit!
Conveniently located within 10 minutes’ walking distance to Port Augusta town center, the Augusta Courtyard Motel offers spacious rooms and barbecue facilities. A great welcome by Jason over the phone with precise info about opening times; then when arriving also met his wife Shannon, equally friendly, courteous and professional , all services excellent, esp hair dryer in room; paid extra for in-room continental breakfast, it was plentiful and good. A great THANK YOU to this young couple doing a fabulous job with smiles, heart, not fussy at all and another bonus: Reception is open up to 10pm. Jason was very helpful with dinner ideas, ex pub opposite with good food and breakfast option at "Archer's Table" Mariana Amar
Located in Port Augusta, 3.6 miles from Arkaroola Wilderness Sanctuary, Motel Poinsettia provides accommodations with a garden, free private parking and barbecue facilities. Property was comfortable, had all the basic amenities. Had a full shared kitchen too.
Odd town shopping area layout. Wanted to go on Pichi Richi railway but here wrong day unfortunately. Make sure you visit the water tower. Go up it and enjoy the views of Port Augusta and further afield.
Just a quick overnight stay. Suited our group perfectly, especially being able to wash and dry clothes in transit whilst travelling around. Staff were very friendly. Our 2 bedroom apartment met all our needs. We shopped at Woolies across the road and ate in our apartment. We walked along the waterway and felt safe after reading other reviews suggesting the area was not safe.
port Augusta is a town that you call into on the way to somewhere else it has the facilities to provide most items for travelers, but as far as staying longer than is necessary to obtain what is needed that is all
lots of roadworks coming into the centre of town so prepare for delays, i ended up moving on as local night life was concerning, staying in a secure facility alleviated some of the concern and large police presence on the river front
Port Augusta is a good stopover before heading north on Stuart Highway. Arid native gardens and Information centre worth a look. The people are very friendly. The Hotel Western diagonally opposite the motel were welcoming with great meals.
Nice place for basecamp...has all shops needed and can go off exploring easily....take away food shops are ordinary....plenty to see and do....pub meal was dissapointing and rude service....great coffee at otr servo....
Augusta Motel is a great option if you need to stop for a night in Port Augusta. It is located along the main road, few meters from a petrol station, convenience store and a fast-food restaurant, which is really helpful. The room was equipped with a small fridge, microwave oven, toaster and kettle, so I prepared my own breakfast and got ice and cooled drinks when I left the room in the morning. Besides that, there is a BBQ area, laundry ( paid ) and a sink ( to wash dishes ) available to guests.
Room was spacious, very clean and very well stocked for tea, coffee, milk and clean linen. Housekeeper was very helpful and did an impeccable job everyday to make sure we were comfortable when we returned every evening from touring around Port Augusta in a hire car waiting for news on the repair of our damaged car.
The late check in worked well. Your experience will vary strongly depending on what you book. There probably isn't that much which will go wrong with an unpowered site. This one is about the cabins. The aircon / heater was quite good.
Frank the person in charge of the hotel is an awesome host . Very friendly and helpful and close to all amenities. - Highly recommend this place if you are in port Augusta. Cheers
It was a wonderful place to stay! The staff were friendly and very welcoming. Every time we pass through Port Augusta there will be no other option for us but to stay here.
Hotel as always was great. We always stay here when stopping in Port Augusta
Was advertised as pet friendly. But only if you pay 30% more for the room.
