The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the hotel is right across from the Gosford train station. The staff was friendly and flexible. Doors lock securely, and you need a key to get up to the rooms so I felt safe. Also, good price!

First, staff NOT on site to give you a room key. Bar manager handed me a key & crossed me on. his list, so I thought "oh how thoughtful of him". So I decided to payback the kindness by buying bar food, only to have him come back and demand the room key back, saying that someone else was driving in soon and it was her key...Note: I had already paid, checked in w the "bar/room manager, and could have already been in the room (had I NOT decided to pat back the kindness) and spend more money on food to relax. He called the manager , but still took back the key at 9:00PM! Manager came and found another poor room. Although it is NOT on the beach, and is NOT a close "walk" to the beach, it IS a reasonable DRIVE to the beach.
