location was great for the event that we had to attend food prices + meals were excellent they had a special on the menu's while we stayed there $16 meals for everything weather was perfect close to shopping center's garages etc.

Well it's a interesting place nice coffee shops and other shops no traffic jams yet Minnamurra rain forest is worth a visit and the beaches a great clean water with walking paths a joining them worth a visit.

Love the quietness of the town yet it has everything you...

Love the quietness of the town yet it has everything you need in it. Love the cafes, that there is a supermarket and the few cute little boutique shops. It is very walkable too and right near the beach, so I felt like I got everything in this little town.

Everything is in easy walking distance from Laurie & Barb's apartment. Shellharbour town is very pleasant. It has everything one would require for a getaway. The main shopping precinct has lots of varied eateries. The fish & chip shop does a roaring trade, but we bought Thai which was excellent! The local tavern appeared to have good clientele also and the cake shop had lovely selections and great coffee! All this right by the harbour. There is an IGA in the main street, and if you drive 5 mins to Shell Cove, there is a Woolworths.

Shellharbour is part of a greater urban area, Shellharbour...

Shellharbour is part of a greater urban area, Shellharbour City. It provides plenty of differing accommodation options, has a great range of shops, restaurants and lovely beaches, is easy to travel around, and is no more than 40 minutes drive from a great area of the NSW South Coast from Lake Illawarra to the Shoalhaven region. This is a great place for a summer holiday for families of all ages.

A very comfortable house about 100 meters from access to the surf club and beach. It is a great location close to the old part of Shellharbour but only 5 mins drive from the Marina and Woolies. The house was very comfortable, great beds, large spaces and a fabulous balcony. Also loved the garage parking to keep the car secure. Our favourite part was whale watching fit. The lounge room and balcony. We visited in early Oct and saw whales every day. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it to others.

The house was exactly like the photos, it was very spacious and clean. It's a very close to 'The Farm' beach. It's a 5 minute drive to Shellharbour Village & Marina. We had a lovely weekend away.
