The accommodation was very comfortable but o missed booking a room with a complete view of the ocean. I didn’t read the information properly so only had a small view which I was very disappointed about but it was my fault. The shops nice and close a beautiful beach. Could have stayed longer.
The shoreline itself is nice, the beach is broad and wide, so make sure to bring sunscreen. The surfers looked pretty happy. The town, however, is more suburban-like than Noosa; not as many shops and restaurants. So it's more for the sea sport than the beach-town scene relative to that.
Beautiful part of the world , sunshine beach . Great village , lovely restaurants and cafes , great coffee . The SLSC , great place and lookout . Clean and safe place to stay , appears very popular with suffers
Sunshine Beach in winter was relatively quiet but lovely - and this is QLD we're talking about so on a sunny day, if you don't mind it a bit cool, the water temp is actually pretty warm and you can still totally go for a swim. Just mind you read the Surf Life Saver board about the conditions and abide by what they recommend. And if you're not a swimmer, the walk along the beach is wonderful. You can enter the Noosa Heads National Park at the northern end of the beach and walk up the (quite steep) stairs and around to Alexandria Bay for some spectacular views and waves crashing against rocks. It's really a beautiful area.
Close access to the beach and Noosa National Park. Surf club served average meals, which I felt were over priced. $36 for a dozen oysters. Very over rated. Our highlight was exploring the Fairy Pools in the NP. The walk was easy and beautiful scenery.
Sunshine Beach is perfect if you wish to visit the shopping/eating strip of Hastings Street in Noosa Heads (approx 10 mins by local bus No.627 which was free during these summer holidays) but wish to come home to a quieter location for the evening. You can access the popular Coastal walk by going up and over the headland at the northern end of Sunshine Beach or, if you head south instead, the beach goes to miles. We walked for 2 hours along the beach each day without running out of sand - only turning around as our poor feet were tired! The beach is also a very dog friendly area with all sorts of breeds enjoying walks/swims with their owners.
Sunshine Beach
We just had 3 nights here and couldn't have been happier with the accommodation in our very clean, roomy one bedroom unit. It had a good sized fridge, a microwave and hotplate for self catering. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was large with fabulous shower. Pleasant leafy outlook from our verandah. Our unit backed on to the main road, however we were barely aware of traffic noise. There are washing facilities on site. On-site managers were very friendly and helpful. Buses to Noosa and other areas of the coast very accessible.
Sunshine Beach
Large fully self contained apartment perfect for a family. Our room was renovated and really clean. It was spacious and had all the facilities a family needs - large kitchen, oven, dishwasher, Netflix, washing machine & dryer. It had a large balcony with the most amazing view! It was very quiet we felt like we had the place to ourselves. It was the perfect place to stay for a very relaxing holiday & only 5 minute drive to Noosa and 7 minutes drive to Noosaville.
Sunshine Beach
The other guests were all very nice and chilled. The general vibe in the hostel was more mature and laid back than the more party hostels. It was great value for money and really close to sunshine beach, which in my opinion is nicer than Noosa main beach. There were also plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby the choose from nearby. The rooms were clean and basic, and dxaclty what you'd expect from the price.
Sunshine Beach
Affordable reasonably sized room with separate toilet and shower room close to Noosa by car or bus. Bed was comfortable. Had 2 good night sleeps. Help yourself breakfast was a bonus in there community Kitchen /Lounge area. We were catching up with relatives on holidays in Noosa so it was ideal for that as not too expensive, and a good place to sleep. It was walking distance from Sunshine Beach.
Sunshine Beach
I was upgraded to a larger apartment nearby, which had fantastic ocean views, and a bonus roof terrace! Situated directly above a small set of shops and restaurants, convenient to beach and close to the bus into Noosa (so you could get away without a car). Lovely small private pool.
Sunshine Beach
I have been going to sunshine beach since I was a child. I now live in New York, yet sunshine beach remains my happy place. Sunshine vista made it all the better and will be my return choice. Thank you!
Sunshine Beach
Great location, approx 200mt to the surf club and the village. Close to the Sunshine beach and if you want to venture over to noosa the walk is fantastic with awesome views along the way.
