Located within an 8-minute walk of Barossa Wine & Visitor Centre in Tanunda, Apartments on Fiedler provides accommodations with seating area and flat-screen TV. Large, comfy spotless and kitchen cupboards full of every thing you would ever need. A nice bottle of red, chocolates and 2 litres of milk were a lovely touch! The host was cheerful, helpful and friendly.
Offering a hot tub and sauna, Langmeil Cottages is located in Tanunda in the South Australia Region, 1 mi from Barossa Wine & Visitor Center. Every room comes with a flat-screen TV and DVD player. Lovely cottage. It would have worked well for a small family as well. Local to the Borossa Wineries worked well for me.
Set on 5 acres overlooking the beautiful Barossa Ranges and surrounding vineyards, Lanzerac Country Estate is just a 2-minute drive from central Taunda. Breakfast was perfect every day, bed was also just like being at home.Staff go out of there way to help, even provided delivery and pick up from a restraunt lunch

Each Barossa Vineyard Cottage features a hot tub, a living room with fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen. All cottages include a front and rear veranda overlooking Tanunda and the Barossa Ranges. What a treasure this place is! It was by far the most charming and pleasant place we stayed on our last trip to Australia. All 4 of us loved it and found the proprietress so gracious and helpful too. It's a lovely rural setting in the wine country of the Barossa Valley, just a few minutes from the more developed town centers but so very relaxing. The cottages are beautifully appointed and the warm tasty bread and wine were an added treat. The resident chickens who visited us upon our arrival were a big hit too....
Located in Rowland Flat, Archery Road Estate provides self-catering accommodations with a terrace and free WiFi. The air-conditioned property is 15 miles from Gawler. Nothing particular. The louse was very spacious, well equipped and well maintained. Hosts were excellent.
Located in Nuriootpa in the South Australia region, The Reserve Barossa Valley is a 4-star property featuring free WiFi. The property has garden views and is 2.7 miles from Penfolds.
Nestled among vineyards with stunning views across the Barossa Valley, Blickinstal Retreat has four self-contained studio rooms and two lodge apartments with continental breakfast supplies included. Great value for money. Loved the property, the location, breakfast and afternoon tea were great. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Lovely town. Visit the art gallery and see the restored organ, art exhibition and the gorgeous gift shop run by local artists. Outstanding staff who are great at recommending wineries and art places. Avoid eating at the 'club' place behind the main street as it isn't the quality you'd expect for such a culinary area. It's an easy drive around to other great towns- Angaston ( visit the sculpture park on the drive there), the Clare Valley, Nurioopta ( visit Maggie Beer's Farmshop for a free cooking demo at 2pm) and Seppeltsfield Winery for the artist galleries as well as the wines.
Tanunda is about an hour from home and a bit of an "expensive" town to visit but only if you patronize the shops "Beans and Icecream" and "The Raven's Parlour Bookshop". The first serves artisan icecream which always pleases, and the coffee is pretty good too! The bookshop changes stock regularly and always has a book or two for himself to buy. Food is generally great, the people friendly, too much great wine to sample and wonderful scenery - like all the Barossa Valley. A wonderful place to visit more than once
Tanunda and the surrounding area of the Barossa Valley is one of my favourite places to visit. I love the wines from the region. The people are friendly and accomodating. If you are in Tanunda, get to Fermentation for dinner.
The TERRACE RESTAURANT in Tanunda (next to the pedestrian crossing traffic lights) . . . . . We LOVED it. Seafood Pilaf was perfect, just the right amount of food to feel happy but not over-stuffed. They have recently renovated, especially you should check out the COURTYARD, it's lovely, grassy and shade provided as well.
Great little town very central to Barossa and wineries. Close to Nuriootpa , Lyndoch. Lots of cafes and great coffee. Hours drive from Glenelg beach and Adelaide. Cottages within walking distance of restaurants. Others a short drive. Close to Maggie Beer's Farm Shop.
Tanunda is a reasonably sized town with some good restaurants and all the usual shopping facilities. It is centrally located in the Barossa Valley, and all main wineries are within 5km. "Asian Fusion" and "1918" are both restaurants of high standard and well worth a visit. The restaurants at the d'Arenberg and JC Pannell wineries are both excellent lunchtime venues. If possible, visit wineries early and outside weekends and public holidays as the popular ones get too crowded to enjoy. Seppeltsfield Winery is a must when visiting the Barossa as it is unique, very historical and beautifully presented.

This property was absolutely amazing. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting the Barossa. The house was comfortable and had everything you needed down to the finest detail. The breakfast provisions were more than we needed and great variety. Location couldn’t be any better with walking distance to shops and restaurants in Tanunda. We loved the Barossa and we will be back and we will definitely book Barossa Bed and Breakfast again.

Close to restaurants, shops etc. Nice pool at the property which is not common in Tanunda B & B's. Wendy is an organised host and everything is available that you would need, including laundry facilities. We used the good BBQ regularly although there are excellent restaurants nearby including Ferment Asia.

Loved everything about Possum Cottage. The house is amazing but it’s the extra touches like cheese board and wine laid out on arrival which just seal the deal! I’ll be back for sure!!
