Set on 50 acres, alongside the Hawkesbury River. The Retreat at Wisemans offers rooms with free WiFi. Free onsite parking is provided. Our Swimming pool, golf course are open. Staff were excellent, despite the aftermath of devistating floods. I received a phone call a few days before our stay to let us know what affect the floods had on the resort.
Located on the Hawkesbury River, Del Rio Riverside Resort features an outdoor swimming pool and a tennis court. Set on 450 acres of picturesque bushland, this resort offers BBQ facilities. The whole resort was great. Plenty to do and the house we hired met all expectations. Was great being able to have a beer at the sports club.

King Cottage is a detached holiday home with a barbecue, located in Wilberforce. The air-conditioned 3-bedroom house offers free private parking on site. Was lovely & quiet, lovely & sunny out of the wind on back patio.. refreshing to come back , have shower , relax by the fire, after a hard days work, packing & cleaning.. was only a 15 min drive back .. Thanks again & will definitely be staying again soon.. Michelle… & watered the plants on back porch..
Set in Kulnura, Waterfall Springs Retreat & Wildlife Sanctuary offers 4-star accommodations with barbecue facilities, a garden and a shared lounge. This 4-star guest house offers a shared kitchen. Good selection for breakfast of yoghurt, cereals fruit. If you want can also also make pancakes or cook up sme eggs and bacon (if you BYO or get the brekkie hamper). My partner and I came prepared with groceries and stuff we needed to use up from home but they have a good selection of meats, pizza as meal options readily available if you don't want to do that prep. The shared full kitchen area was well equipped with everything you'd need. We were fortunate to have the entire place to ourselves since we were staying there from the middle of the week. You can do as little or as much as you like. After we settled in we actually didn't leave (i.e. use the car or leave property) until check out. Spent the time we were there chilling in the shared areas such as kitchen dining area, around the fire outside in the bbq area at night. Catching up on some book reading in our private balcony area which also looks out to the kangaroos, wallabies and ducks hanging around. Bushwalking in the back of the property in the afternoons as well as strolling around the main compounds to check out the wildlife that is around as this is a working wildlife reserve. Also really enjoyed relaxing at the end of the day in the large bathtub and kicking back with a book or Netflix along with a glass of wine. My partner and I also did the glow worm and sanctuary tours which we highly recommend. The glow worm tour was a magical experience and the sanctuary tour was great getting even closer to some of the cvute animals and learning more about what they do here. Steve and Alanna are very down to earth, genuine and lovely people - you can tell they are they are very passionate about the work they are doing as well as providing a great experience for you while you're staying here. The spaces and different areas set up across the property are so well thought out and they provide everythig that you could need. Thank you for a wonderful stay! Will definitely be back!
The retreat Is in a beautiful setting right on the Hawkesbury river two minutes from the ferry crossing,we have returned to the retreat over many years, sadly after the floods, fires and coved it is now looking in need of TLC to bring this beautiful place back to how it was.
Can't believe we hadn't been here before - that says it all really. Nice drive there - including ferry crossings. Great old/historic sandstone Inn - with good accommodation and an excellent bistro (with generous meals at reasonable prices).

The warm welcoming and friendly atmosphere was tops There are areas you can chill if you do not want to sit in the bar The verandah upstairs is a great place to chill unwind get a real feel of the place. The rooms are made for you to feel like you are stepping back into the past Just fantastic would be even more sensational if you are there for a special occasion.
My favourite place was the Wisemans Ferry Inn Ate at the restaurant and had plenty of options on menu. Great food. Everything iyou want is walking distance. You can play golf, swim, volleyball and even bowls.

It was close to our van/cabin on the river which was flooded at the beginning of the year.
