AustraliaWe stayed for two nights in Woolgoolga and absolutely loved it. The location is very central — an easy walk to the beach, restaurants, and coffee shops, making it a perfect holiday spot.
Rodney and Jason were wonderful hosts. They answered all my questions promptly and were very helpful with local advice and restaurant recommendations. I rated all aspects on the feedback page as excellent, as everything met or exceeded expectations.
Despite a previous review mentioning noise, we found the restaurant downstairs was not noisy at all. In fact, the food was outstanding, and the owner/manager and overall atmosphere were top notch. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it.

It was raining very heavily when we arrived so the weather...
It was raining very heavily when we arrived so the weather was not conducive to a beach visit. Disappointing as the beach looked most appealing.
The area looked very attractive, with numerous takeaway food outlets.
We purchased Indian food and it was delicious.
Will return in the spring!

Woolgoolga is a village well suited for walking - no car needed. Lots of great local restuarants of different cuisines to try out. Beaches were patrolled and the water clear. Bring the walking shoes, many great walks to experience the coastline. Highly recommend

Safety Beach Bungalows were clean and airy. Close walk to the beach. The location was secluded among a jungle of beautiful plants. The unit, "Mad Duck", was well organized with two bedrooms, one bath and an open area for the kitchen and lounge. With an outside shower to rinse off the sand and two lovely outdoor seating areas, one was a covered deck. Family friendly or just a sweet little spot for a friends adventure.
Woolgoolga is a lovely little town. We walked on the beach all the way into the town. Blue Bottles is a nice little restaurant and there are plenty of shops to see. Plenty of beaches around the area to visit and the Solitary Islands Coastal walk is well worth the time to hike along the shoreline.

Woolgoolga is a hidden gem in the shadow of Coffs Harbour.
Woolgoolga is a hidden gem in the shadow of Coffs Harbour. It has both a a village and coastal vibe without the crowds offering a range of restaurants cafes and clubs appealing to all tastes. Very easy to get around. We ate a very tasty evening meal at Woolgoolga Diggers and a yummy outdoor breakfast at Bluebottles Brasserie. Woolgoolga’s long history with the Sikh Community is evident in the stunning temple along with its contribution in growing bananas and now blueberries. Coffs Harbour is just a short distance away as is easy access to many other beaches. Lovely place to stay and use as a base in that area.

I enjoyed my trip to Woolgoolga and found it very relaxing and enjoyed biking around the town and headlands .
We found the sunset caravan park in a great location close to beach and shops and the Digger club.

A great little beach resort town where I stop over for the night when travelling from Sydney to Brisbane and back. It has very good cafes and restaurants . It has a beautiful park and beach. I always meet friendly locals willing to assist with any problems.

The cabin was nice and new. Lovely and clean with very comfortable bed. The linen even smelled fresh. The park itself is also clean and tidy too. Easy walk I to town. Pool isn’t huge but the slide was fun. Very quiet even though it is a pet friendly park. It was what we needed for a quick visit to Woolgoolga to see family.

The people living there long-term seem to really enjoy it there, and are so friendly with each other. It seems to be a place where people have a lot of fun and make a lot of friends. The staff also respond nicely to feedback. It's really close to Woolgoolga beach, which is beautiful and looks like a great surf spot.

We liked the ability to come and stay with our dog. The yard (in theory) attached to the room is a great bonus, and the only thing that made us pick this hotel.
