Woopi Backpackers in Woolgoolga provides adults only accommodations with a bar, a shared lounge and a garden. There's a grill and guests can use free WiFi and free private parking. This is the best ever hostel that I've been to. Both across Europe and definitely out here in Aus!! Comfy, relaxed, big facilities, security, super clean, heaps of common space, loads of job posters, organised, price, breakfast... The whole lot, just fair play. Big round of applause! Especially liked the organisation of the system with regards to your bed, room and kitchen stuff! Can't rate this place enough!
Located in Safety Beach, guests enjoy free WiFi at Safety Beach Ocean Bungalows. This pet-friendly accommodations features BBQ facilities. Location was great, parking was tight at night. Communication from hosts was exceptional. Great place for pets and close to the pet beach.
The Seaview Tavern Motel has free WiFi throughout the property and rooms with air conditioning in Woolgoolga. There's a restaurant serving Pizza cuisine, and free private parking is available. Room was clean, had everything we needed, and was modern.
Usually somewhere to just pass through on route to places north, Woolgoolga sits just north of Coffs Harbour and has been bypassed by the freeway. The now quiet township has all that the weary traveller requires. Choices of beaches with the main beach being almost across the road from shops and accommodation. Dining options with a wide range of culinary styles or club/pub for more traditional fare. Wonderful views can be found of the coastline and the if the time of year is right, whale watching. All just over the hill from the freeway giving a peaceful night's sleep.
Woolgoolga has a great beach. Flat. Good for walking along. Good for swimming. Also has an outdoor swimming pool and slides. Not sure on prices. Most of Woolgoolga is flat and easy to get around. Good choices of bakery’s. Cafes. Restaurants. Rsl club and Pub further back towards the turnoff. A bottle shop stocks a great variety. Some interesting shops. The bakery sells bread and great pies. And a Village market on Friday mornings. 2 medical centres and pharmacies. Visit the blueberry farms and nearby Coffs HarbourBig Banana. Great drives nearby and beaches. The local Indian community welcomes you to visit. Some great spice shops. Also a great plant nursery hidden but a gem. Woolworths supermarket is nearby on the Highway. But the bakery and fruit and veggie shop helps go urgent needs. Caravan parks and Local motel right near the beach.
Been visiting for 10 years. Beautiful place for holiday. Had great meals at Bluebottles Cafe, Seaview Tavern, and great Asian menu at Bowls Club. Can walk to most places within 5-35 minutes. The beach is lovely to walk and a trip up to the headland to view the whales passing was high light. Only a 20 minute trip into Coffs Harbour with several other lovely beach places to see on the way.
One of NSW north coasts best kept secrets. Long beautiful beaches, warm water, good picnic areas near the beach, the rivers or lake. Magnificent lookouts for photo opportunities. Friendly locals in a great little village atmosphere. Perfect for couples.
What a friendly little town, a really happy community atmosphere in the café where we had lunch. Nearby was the beach and headland with stunning views and fabulous Sikh Temple. The Sikh community has been there since the 1800s and there is a small museum near the temple. They are also very friendly people, wishing us happy New Year as they walked by. There are plenty of places to have dinner including the large pub, Diggers Club and of course Indian restaurants! I was really taken with Woolgoolga, it was just a one night stop on the way home but what a lovely surprise! Wished we could have stayed longer.
Good facilities in the town with a range of places to eat. Lots of interesting walks around the town and the beach. Sikh temple is a local landmark. Woolworths at the roundabout on the highway is convenient.
The bungalows were set in a beautiful lush excellently maintained garden and backed on to a nature reserve so that we were treated to the song s of a wide range of bird species.. Bungalows close to beautiful beach which was great for swimming and walking. A short drive into Woolgoolga for Sikh temples, cafes, gift shops, etc. it was a very peaceful environment. Bungalows well spaced and private. Beds very comfortable. Loved sitting out on the veranda.
Very nice inside the room, very clean, feels like a hotel. A nice bed and beautiful big round table and cane chairs. Lots of bag space. Room has everything, very well equiped
The cabin was impeccably clean, and the overall campsite was very looked after. Great location in Woopie (Woolgoolga) on the lake, with amazing beach access.
