Everything in the hotel was at a super high level, starting with the staff at the reception and restaurants and everywhere in the hotel and a special thanks to Mr. Johnny who accompanied us throughout the stay. A very luxurious hotel, all the rooms and facilities are of a high standard. Everything is green around the hotel, there are plenty of places to sit outside. The breakfast was excellent, the staff very helpful. Surprisingly, the prices in the hotel's restaurants were really, really reasonable and the food was of a very high standard.

Lady and Bear Guest House is a true gem in rural Azerbaijan. The location feels secluded - yet it is only about 6 km from the main road and easy to reach. It feels peaceful and private, surrounded by nature, with one of the most beautiful views of the river valley and mountains. The accommodation itself is very clean, comfortable, and well-functioning - simple, modern, authentic, and thoughtful. Everything you need is there, and nothing feels overdone. The owner is super helpful and responsive. A special bonus is a nearby local restaurant run by Eldar - delicious food, generous portions, and affordable prices. Our transfer from Baku arranged by Lady and Bear was comfortable and convenient. We asked the driver to stop by a supermarket on the way to the guest house for some grocery shopping.

An absolute gem! We had a wonderful stay. The owners and staff were extremely welcoming, friendly, and always smiling. The food was delicious, our room was very comfortable and cozy, and the view was breathtaking. Everything was perfect!

We had a lovely stay at this family-friendly hotel.

We had a lovely stay at this family-friendly hotel. The service was excellent, and special thanks go to our personal assistant, Elmi Bey, for making our holiday even more memorable. The food was outstanding, and our room was spotless, exactly as shown in the photos, with a beautiful view. The main area for improvement is the pool. The chlorine smell was strong, and better monitoring is needed to prevent adults from using the children’s pool.

We stayed at the hotel for just one wonderful day and booked three rooms for our group. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, assisting us with all our requests. A special thanks to Elmi, the Guest Relations Manager, who kindly arranged traditional Qutab for us even after the restaurant had closed. I would also like to thank another Guest Relations Manager, whose name I unfortunately don't remember. He spoke excellent Russian and shared with us the moving story of his grandfather, who helped save many Jews during World War II. He was extremely welcoming, kind, and helpful throughout our stay. My apologies for forgetting your name. In addition, four adults from our group enjoyed massages at the hotel's spa, and the experience was absolutely amazing! The breakfast was very good, and the overall service exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend this hotel. It is located in a beautiful green mountain setting with breathtaking views, modern facilities, and spotless, comfortable rooms. We truly enjoyed our stay and would gladly return in the future.

Bassqal Resort is a large modern hotel with all the facilities one would expect. It is set in a rural location but easily accessible from Baku. Most guests drive there to either use the spa or to explore the local countryside and nearby attractions such as Lahic which is well worth a visit. Walks and hikes might n use the Resort as a base, The landscape is one of open fields with mountains in the background - scenic and peaceful.
