The location is good, with a great view overlooking the bay. The room is spacious, and the terrace is nice. The bed was large and comfortable. Conveniently, two supermarkets are located on the ground floor. The swimming pool is large enough to actually swim. The saunas are okay; they were a bit underheated for my taste, but this is a common issue with hotel saunas in the Balkans, so it wasn't unexpected. The breakfast was fine, and the restaurant, in general, was okay.

Neum is a beautiful and enjoyable destination with a great atmosphere, friendly people, and overall a very pleasant stay. Everything was good and I had a really nice experience there. However, one important issue is the lack of proper places to launch or dock a boat or jet ski into the sea, which can be quite inconvenient for water sports lovers. Despite that, I still had a great time and would recommend visiting Neum.

A mountain-slope located city, clean and beautiful. Please pay attention to the steep slopes: you will probably need a car to get from the beach to the hotel. We visited the city in April, and there were no people, and parking slots were free. Overall, this city looks beautiful and deserves your visit!

There are not many positives to be said about Neum.

There are not many positives to be said about Neum. The best thing about it is the weather, followed by the opp-ty to "hop" (provided that you have a car) either way (left of right) into Croatia, where proper beaches await visitors who look for something (a proper beach) that Neum cannot offer. Most of the diners in Neum carry unwarranted pretentions of class, which gives them license to overprice everything. One little thing that annoys me in BIH is this "conspiracy" of being served water in a bottle of 350 ml, which is good thing for 10-year olds but not for adults. Another one (also visible in Neum) is waiting and kitchen staff smoking in front of you, the customer - a fact which, by European standards, should be horrific. Parking is a problem. In front of a tiny and miserable stretch of shore (I wouldn't say "beach"), the local town hall asks you to pay 3 euro per hour. Then all spaces (in front of stores, for example), are tight and narrow, just like the winding streets going up and down of this boring town.

We enjoyed our holiday very much!

We enjoyed our holiday very much! Neum is not as small as we expected. It is a picturesque town with beautiful nature surroundings and a variety of beaches of different kinds. There are neighbourhoods of big hotels and a lot of small cute apartments. Most of the supermarkets near the seaside do not accept bank cards (August 2025). The town was built on the seaside mountains, so you'll possibly have to use lots of stairs which connect horizontal streets.

Very different to Mostar and Sarajevo.

Very different to Mostar and Sarajevo. Lots of Croatians here and after visiting Sarajevo you don't feel like you are in Bosnia. The real Bosnian experience is in Sarajevo. However, it is worth staying for 3 nights at the end of the Bosnia experience. We flew into Sarajevo (3 nights), train to Mostar (2 nights_, Taxi to Neum (3 nights), then flew out of Dubrovnik Airport.

They had free parking which was incredible since the parking situation in Neum was crazy. The house was modern and bright and looked really nice. The staff was super nice, even though they hardly spoke any English. She even washed our clothes for free! The location was just great! And was fairly quiet and with a very short walk down to the water were there were some nice resultants and bars. Very nice balcony with great view. And Nuem as a city is a hidden gem!! We were the only tourists from outside of Bosnian. NEEUUUUMMMM

Everything is exceptional! The owner is a soulful man who takes maximum care of his customers. The rooms are newly arranged with great taste, with attention to all the details. Neum really surprised us, it is nice place for few beach days. Milan was very nice and helpful, his villa is perfectly situated on the calm side of Neum (not the noisy and crowded central part of the city). Beach is literally few steps away. Room was very clean, everything we needed was there (including AC).
