Fabulous staff- could not have been better -very approachable from The manager to the beach boys ! . Lovely bungalow - good space - lounge , bedroom , terrace , balcony , bathroom and kitchen . The pool was beautiful - not very well sign posted!! Look out for it . Food was superb . Lovely breakfast and obviously the Fish Potwas wonderful for dinner and/or lunch. Beach area small but worked well . Comfy sunlounger and plenty of them . Hotel would get you groceries before you arrived -use this as the nearest grocery store but that close.

The decor was over the top beautiful and perfect!! I love the boutique feel of it. The food and drinks were also amazing. The staff was super friendly. Kimberly and Dione went out of their way to make suggestions and give advice for our week long trip. We would love to come back again someday.

Breakfast selection was limited. We were encouraged to NOT order from the menu. When we did we waited 60 minutes for our meal. Unacceptable!

St.Andrew is known as part of the Scotland District of Barbados. It's rugged and very beautiful. The seas are usually rough but the beaches are great for walking. You can pick fruit like seagrapes and fatporks on the sand dunes. If you are lucky you might even see some leatherback turtle hatchlings. If you are a hiker there are many marked trails for you to enjoy.

I had a most enjoyable stay at Santosha Resort in Feb/ Mar 2023. I wanted some where to rest, reflect, chill and make plans for 2023. St Andrew was the right place for me.
I was enroute to St. Lucia, and I was resting for 3 days. I did not visit the beach or go on any excursions. I wanted to visit Bridge Town and Christ Church, but for the taxi fare increases, 3 days prior to my stay. I was quoted $40.00 Barbadian Dollars to Christ Church from my resort, before my departure from the UK. This was increased to $65.00 Barbadian Dollars, on my arrival in Barbados.
My resort was self-catering. I purchased my food before arriving at the resort. I made myself, hand burgers and sausage rolls with salads. Breakfast was porridge. I had beers, coffee, tea, juice and much more.
The closest restaurant was a mile away from my resort. I enjoyed your Banks beer.
I would say, if you are staying for more than 3 days, hire a car, without hesitation. You will find it a lot easier to get about the island.
I probably will stay in Christ Church next time.
Otherwise, I enjoyed my stay in St. Andrew.
Thank you.
