I have been travelling for over 30 years and I have stayed at some fine hotels, but this was the first time that I stood in awe when I entered the room and the very first thing I did, before even taking my shoes off, was to take a picture - the spaciousness, the sheer height of the room, and the marble fire place! And all this in a boutique hotel at just the right location - short walking distance from Grand Place but in a quiet neighbourhood, far off from the tourist crowds. The style is understated elegance with a hint of cozy and design - no kitch, no over the top oppulence, just good quality and style. It was all very comfortable and clean. The cherry on top were the personal touches (a hand-written note from the manager addressed to my name - no mass produced standard text) and the extremely friendly and personal services. Fleur de Ville, you are doing it right!
