The location is comfortable: close to the center of the town and in the same time on the side of the beach (the beach of Ahtopol is a little detached from the town, but still at a walking distance). The room is just the right size. It was clean. The staff is kind and friendly. There was parking place available (this is a huge plus).

The self-catering apartment was great. The resort was good quality in general. Restaurant food was very good and served in generous portions. The staff were pleasant, wherever we went. We were there in high Summer. It was hot so we intend to return at a cooler time of year and do some sightseeing, further afield. We ate at the Museum restaurant a few times and then at the 4 Captains. Seafood was fresh and well-cooked. Ahtopol is a small fishing village and so not difficult to navigate. There are small boats that take passengers along the coast a few miles.
Ahtopol itself is not a big town and it is a real pleasure walk around its streets populated by lots of tourists, to taste different dishes in the restaurants or simply to look at the small shops in the streets. Ahtopol has a very specific shore line and people have succeeded to maintain a relatively nice beach with sufficient number of umbrellas and sunbeds, small cafeteries and luncheonettes. The beach is good for families with children, but it is also a suitable place for the ones that love swimming and scuba diving. However reaching the beach is not that easy. There is still asphalt road to the Ahtopol beach missing, that turns this nice place a bit abandoned by the the town municipality.
Great vibe - a quiet little coastal town, the exact opposite of the crazy party capitals of classless "tourism" revolving around alcohol, drugs and prostitution. Ahtopol is truly a lovely town. Has nice places where to eat, very walkable, not congested with car traffic, has nice places by the sea and a big and beautiful beach plus places that open up gorgeous views. Local people that we met at shops & eating venues set a very pleasant impression with their friendliness :)
Ahtopol is a big town that has everything and lots of confusion if you need to stay longer and have kids. The problem is that the beach is not very good but u have close by some very good ones that u could go by car. U can’t have a dog in the beach.
A lovely quiet fishing town with an excellent quiet beach and access to the Strandhza national park for walking. There were multiple restaurants that all served good food, and more that were not open (I visited at the end of the season). Sinmorets is just down the coast with access to river kayaking and surfing/wind surfing, as well as 3 more beaches Would definitely recommend renting a car if you want to do anything other that sit on the beach as there are things to see up and down the coast and the buses are infrequent.
Ahtopol is nice little town on the Black sea, it has a lot of tourist accommodations, good restaurants, 4km beach. It's not too crowded like other resorts in Bulgarian seaside. A lot to see it the area, there are several other great beaches on 20-30 min. drive. There are other attractions nearby, like boat trip on Veleka river (I recommend), or in the Black sea.
The staff of the hotel were very friendly. Everyone was asking is everything is ok all the time. We felt like home. There is a coffee shop in the hotel, the guy there was also very friendly and communicative. The hotel is just 2 min from the beach and 2 min from the main street. We rented an apartment with sea view. It was very clean and there were two terraces with beautiful sea views. There is also a parking from the hotel. I would highly recommend.
Extremely nice and quiet place. The hosts are great people and infinitely kind and responsive. We would definitely stay there when we visit Ahtopol again. The rooms are large, have air conditioning, cable and everything you need. There is a car park opposite the hotel, where you can always find a free space. We really liked it, we recommend with 2 hands!
-The property has lovely views over the Black Sea Coast and is very close to the Town's central beach -The apart-hotel suits well the needs of families with (young) children or bigger families -You can park your car just beside the complex -Breakfast delivery can be arranged on request -There is a nice & rel. big outdoor pool
The hotel is in a nice location, quiet area and not far away from the beach. Water to drink in the room when we arrived. Got a glass of wine when check in that people may like, but there could be something non-alchololic if they want to serve a treat.
The staff was super friendly and polite. I liked that I could park near the hotel. There were many shops near the hotel as well.
the thinking we will go to another hotel next time...
It is a self-catering apartment with a vast assortment of toiletries, cleaning materials etc., available for use, although the property is maintained to a good standard. There isn't a dedicated car space but there are many on-road spaces nearby. The accommodation is on 3 floors and is as photographed. It overlooks the sea with stunning views of the likes of small fishing boats going in and out of the harbour. We intend to return.
