The hotel has a unique Latin inspired retro-Jetson architecture that you can see in the exterior view, and I really like it’s boldness. The rooms have air conditioner which didn’t appear to be big enough for our enormous room with high ceilings, but it really did quite well on our 98F day. The view on the traffic and hustling and busking in the plaza below is entrancing for hours. All of Cobija’s residents flow through this plaza many times a day. Don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t noisy at all! You want noisy, try sleeping at any hotel in Sucre with motorcycles screaming up the hills all night.
