From the moment you walk from the hustle & bustle of the La Paz streets and into the peace of the front garden, you know you are staying someplace special. Originally built in 1916, this was the home of Dr xxx and Teresita. Their sons have turned the home into bed and breakfast. The rooms are comfortable, the showers nice and hot. But for the full experience, take the time to explore the house! You feel like you are walking back in time! Family photos and art work are displayed throughout the property. The music room contains 2 vintage pianos and the halls are filled with family memorabilia. Ask Ernesto and he will show you photos of his grandfather & great-grandfather during one of the many Bolivian revolutions. We highly recommend Casa Teresita & will stay again if ever we come back to La Paz!

Our room was large, clean and very comfortable, with a great king-size bed and good WiFi. The property/building was cute and very well-maintained. All of the staff were super nice!! The best surprise was breakfast- really quite amazing for a hotel breakfast with the option of a fresh hot omelette! Also, the kitchen space is a French creperie at night. I don’t think it’s part of the hotel but the crepes are amazing and very authentic, so be sure to eat there. I would definitely stay at Anami again!!!

Casa Fusion was our base while in La Paz for over a week. Our room was very comfortable, the hotel has lots of character in an older building. Breakfast was delicious and the glassed in seating area becomes a nice cafe amd cake place in the afternoons. The staff are all great. It's also in a nice neighborhood with good local.resraursnts and 2 mins walk to the teleferico station. Highly recommended!

We were so excited for our trip to La Paz, but there aren’t many typical hotel chains to choose. After reading many different reviews, we chose Stannum and were not disappointed! This is unlike any hotel that I’ve stayed at before. First this hotel is in a high rise building, but only takes up 2 of the floors. They were higher floors, so the view from our room was amazing. The included breakfast buffet was delicious, plentiful, and varied! Our room was very clean and the internet was fast and strong! The location was also fantastic. It is not in the city center but that is what we wanted. We were very close to the cable cars and that was our main mode of transport in this vibrant city. The best part of this hotel was actually the staff! Carla, Camila, Daniel, Benjamin, Gerardo, and Diego were outstanding! They arranged rides and excursions, and everything went so smoothly! They also recommended restaurants in the area to eat at, and gave us maps and explained how to use the cable cars. They even loaned us a cable car card to help us get started. This hotel was such a gem!
