Beautiful beaches, friendly people and nice accommodations. Places to visit: Tim’s on the Bay overlooking a beautiful beach with breathtaking views from the deck. Great hosts and ambiance Tropic of Cancer beach Williamstown and the salt flats Exuma Point in Rolleville Exuma delicious food, beautiful beach and friendly owners Kermit’s across from Georgetown airport February Point restaurant Shirley’s at Fish Fry Sandy Beach cottages Car: Airport Car Rentals Driving is easy but be prepared when driving as distances to some areas can take some time. However, easy access to beaches and local restaurants and bars in each settlement along the makes the journey worthwhile.
Beautiful beaches with incredible water colours within walking distance such a Jolly hall or a short boat ride away as in Starfish beach or Chat's N chill/ Elizbeth Bay, have a fresh seafood dish at the Splash Bar easy relaxed atmosphere or feel a little local at Shirley's or just a little more romantic at Franky Bananas or glamorous at Choppy & Cgnito's; if fish is not your thing, everybody will make you a tasty burger or grilled chicken breast or veggie/ pasta option. Do hire a boat in advance if you want to ride yourself around The all-day trip to see the sharks, swimming pigs, iguanas and cave is really worth it
Georgetown is a typical island town. The grocery store closes down fairly early and is closed Sundays, but there are various restaurants you can go to if you can't go to the market. The people are amazingly friendly an we never felt like we didn't belong. Don't expect Georgetown to be modern. It has some rundown buildings and the roads are not perfect, but you should look at it as a new experience and not a negative. I will definitely go back again someday.
It was in the heart of the island, you really get to know the locals there. Everyone was really nice. I would recommend Traveling both big Exuma and little Exuma. Rent a car and see the whole island. Make sure to visit Tropic of Cancer beach, truly breathtaking. Tropic and cancer grill and bar was the best food we ate there.
Minns boat rentals was awesome! Shirley’s at the fish fry was awesome. The beaches are incredible the water is even better. You have to rent boats there it is the only way to enjoy that area And see all the sights!!!
Central location about 15 minutes from the airport. Not a lot of shopping, but the straw market is great for typical souvenirs and t-shirts. There is also Sandpiper Arts with great beach wear and goods made by local artisans. Visit St. Andrews church which sits high on a hill giving you panoramic views of the town and water.

Beach club, as alot of fun stuff to do.. The beaches are breathe taking....Very clean and well kept property. Hotel food pricey and its just average, there are better local options at Fry Fried and walking distance from property like Sonia's (food was delicious!) The locals are very friendly and I felt extremely safe.
