United StatesLocation, location, location! It was beautiful. Access to the shore was fantastic. We travelled off season and it was great that the nearby restaurant was closed and there were no crowds.

United KingdomThe location was superb... right on the banks of a tidal river where we could watch the bald eagles and cormorants and herons fishing. It was idyllic and so quiet. The breakfast made by Daphne was also great, served with the other guests for a bit of banter and discussion on what to see. She was a really excellent host and the place felt like a home from home...

The location and the house were very nice.
The location and the house were very nice.
Better instructions (other than the not so useful ones on-line) would've been nice. Remotes needed batteries, and heating thermostat didn't work, no way to turn it on.
Other than the challenges with the heating, it was a nice place to stay, very walkable, and lots of restaurants near by.

The town of Alma is small and walking distance to several...
The town of Alma is small and walking distance to several restaurants and the convenience store/gas station. I ate at 3 restaurants and the food was really good, reasonably priced and friendly service. The Alpine Inn has the view of the boats that sit on the ocean floor at low tide and rise at high tide. You can walk a short distance away and walk on the ocean floor there as well. The wifi is not good in the room. I have mobile data so this was not a huge issue for me. Alma is about a 35 minute drive to Hopewell rocks. We also drove the Fundy Tail Parkway, the entrance is close to Alma. There are amazing views and look outs as well as a suspension bridge over Salmon River. I would stay here again if in the area.

I’ve fallen in love with Alma! What a beautiful town. The accommodations and restaurants were amazing. The beaches and area was absolutely breathtaking. The locals were friendly and welcoming. I cannot wait to return to Alma!

All amenities within walking distance. People very friendly.
All amenities within walking distance. People very friendly. Short drive to Hopewell rocks which are absolutely amazing, a must see. Drove thru the Fundy National Park, beautiful spot, next time would spend more time to walk thru the park. We ate at the Parkland Inn restaurant and the Muddy Rudder, had seafood and it was excellent.

Excellent location, good price, clean and comfortable, no cleaning daily but the staff brings new towels and coffee every morning, calm, parking, store wiem everything 2 min walk, cooking facility in room - all basic but comfortable, very good for the price we paid. (For any meal I recommend the Octopus Garden, all marvellous from breakfast to true Italian pasta, nothing to do with the hotel, but just a good experience to share).

Alma is nicer and offers more than we expected. The hotel is perfectly located for walking to restaurants, shops, the wharf & beach. Nice spot on the grounds with chairs for enjoying water views. The room was older, but comfortable and clean.

Cosy location in the center of Alma. Everything needed is provided, much storage, beautiful veranda.
We liked it very much.
Communication with staff/owner was fast and efficient.

The location is amazing, right in the middle of everything Alma has to offer. The view is also excellent. The room was very clean and comfortable.
