CanadaWe had such a great time staying at Bears Paw 5! The check-in was simple, the unit was clean, and the location was awesome! It was just a short walk to the village, and we thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub. When we were checking out, they had someone come and service the hot tub, which is always nice to know they make sure it's clean for the next guests. We had no complaints and would definitely stay here again. It was also really nice that there was a garage for us to park our vehicle in and to leave our snowboards, so we didn't have to drag anything wet inside.

Plenty of room to spread out, exceptionally equipped with everything you need, 4 spacious double bedrooms, easy to ski in - ski out, lifts only 200m away. Washing machine, dryer, full kitchen, drying room, ski locker, all very well thought out and user friendly.

AustraliaThe place was massive and it had everything we needed to have a great stay. The kitchen was great for cooking as the appliances were high quality and the cupboards were well-equipped. The location was very handy (just off the ski-home tracks), though it took a little figuring out how to get to/from on foot/board, which could be added to the instructions as Google Maps doesn't recognise the trails as walkable routes.

A large ski resort with many trails and lifts to choose from...
A large ski resort with many trails and lifts to choose from. Very close to the city of Kelowna. Perfect snow condition in the middle of spring break. Decent restaurants around and even has a market if you forgot the milk. Rental was easy and staff was great and friendly. We also had a great time tubing on our last day - recommended after you are exhausted from skiing but still want some silly snowy fun. You can get to everywhere if you are on your skis, otherwise you can take the shuttle and gondola to get around. Overall the kids wanted to stay longer than 4 days, but the grown ups had all the fun we needed and were ready to get back to real life.

Big White Ski Resort was absolutely amazing, we went in...
Big White Ski Resort was absolutely amazing, we went in January for 6 nights. I have skied in Japan and Australia and this was by far the best. The snow was amazing, the lines for the lifts were very short. The staff at the restaurants were lovely as was the food and choices. The ski rental and lift passes were very reasonable and staff extremely helpful.
I would absolutely go there again.

A stunning resort with beautiful surroundings and plenty of things to do for skiers and non-skiers.
My husband and I came to visit our daughter who is working at Big White for this season. Neither of us has ever skied before, but now one of us can! The snow-mobiling was fantastic, but the jewel in the crown for us was the dog-sledding. It was a truly wonderful experience. The dogs were lovely, so well cared for and so eager to do their job. It's an absolute must for probably a once in a lifetime experience.
So many staff about the resort available to help with anything. All were friendly from shop staff, to bar staff, to lifties.
Having never been to a ski resort before, I have nothing to compare this to, but I am a very fussy traveller and I would most definitely come back here.

A great mountain for all types of skiers, long runs, not too...
A great mountain for all types of skiers, long runs, not too busy on weekdays (when we visited), good variety of terrain, excellent snow conditions. First day had low clouds and fog which severely affected visibility on top half of the mountain. This season has been particularly bad for this "white-out" situation but in other years this happens perhaps 25% of the time according to locals. Did not eat out since we always bring our own food. Village is small and easy to get around on skis. Used the yellow gondola to access the Happy Valley area from the village. Spent the bad visibility afternoon on snow shoe trails which were in excellent condition and well marked.

We just really like big white, it has a wide range of skiing...
We just really like big white, it has a wide range of skiing and snowboarding options that allow our entire family to find runs they enjoy. so much of it is ski-in and ski-out. Loads of service options and food options.

Excellent Appartement, very well located and equiped with two bedrooms, fridge, kitchen, fireplace and jaccuzzi, perfect place to stay in Big White, Ski-in, Ski-out, village is a 5 min walk
