Located in Carcross, Cabins Over Crag Lake has 3-star accommodations with a garden and a grill. The hosts are superb! Very friendly and make you feel right at home. The cabins are elegantly appointed and perfect as a base for a Yukon adventure. We had two families with 3 kids and 2 grandparents and we're so cozy. This is one spot not to miss on your Yukon trip!
Offering a restaurant, Spirit Lake Lodge is located in Carcross. Free WiFi access is available. Each room here will provide you with a TV, satellite channels and pay-per-view channels. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant food was excellent, cooked perfectly for our preferences and reasonably priced. The beds are comfortable. Free wifi is accessible 24-7 in the deck areas. Since the water is hard and we stayed for 6 nights, we asked for drinking water in a jug which staff cheerfully provided. Instead of having coffee makers in the rooms, guests are welcome to drink great coffee whenever they want for free. The shower has good hot water pressure when the control is set to 2:00. Thanks for a great stay at a great price! :)
Boasting river views, Six Mile River Resort is located in the town of Tagish, the Southern Lakes region of Yukon. Free Wi-Fi, and complimentary bicycle and canoe rentals are available. There was complimentary canoes that you were able to take out on the river and explore. The cabins themselves were kept very clean, was nice and cozy and also had a little space heater that looked like a fireplace which also gave it a nice touch. But by far my favorite part would have to be the food, the owner puts so much love in her cooking for everyone and just tastes out of this world.
Situated on the shores of Marsh Lake, this quaint lodge features views of Aurora Borealis, also known as the Northern Lights. Presidential Suite was very spacious and luxurious ... bed was ultra comfortable ... sauna a treat! Fabulous views of Marsh Lake from the deck ... lots of deck chairs to enjoy a drink and also enjoy the afternoon sun ... dinner was excellent ... personalized menu explanations by the chef and presentations were wonderful ... great beach and sunset canoe ride was magical! I would highly recommend a stay; and hope to return again soon.
A surprising find of a town. Be sure to the visitors center and downtown. So much useful information from a passionate counselor at the center. A good alternative to Whitehorse and a great stop en route to Skagway!
