CanadaPlace was easy to find and although very close to freeway, was quiet. We parked in front, staff were friendly, room clean, quiet and comfy. And the breakfast was fine with choices from yogurt, cereal, pastries, toast, scrambled eggs, sausage, hash browns, waffles and juices, etc. would stay again.

Hong KongZenia, the host, is incredibly responsive and welcoming. There were many thoughtful treats that made us feel truly appreciated. Zenia pays attention to detail, which contributed to our comfortable stay while still allowing us privacy; it felt just like home. The suite itself is very clean and beautifully decorated. I am glad I chose to stay in this suite, as I didn't even notice how quickly time passed during my travels.

Car is a necessity if travelling as a family.
Fortunatley we had relatives and family members to drive us around in the city. Skytrain is a reliable option, but very crowded during rush hour peak and on gameday. Cannot rely only on public transportation in Vancouver.

Having grown up in the lower mainland, I never really spent time in other parts than my neighbourhood. We did visit Mundy Park, which was a lovely experience. Unfortunately, we did not get to visit other area parks and attractions.

Very bad experience.
Very bad experience. Saw mice on site, room heaters too noisy and does not work properly, furniture was dirty especially sofas and chairs. Water taps not working properly and shower water heat/cool not consistent, washrooms were overall dirty. Wifi does not work properly. No room service at all and checkin time too late @4pm and checkout @11am which is not fair. Rooms were located in open entrance which is not safe. No feeling of hotel, it's a worst class motel I would say. A full upgrade to facility is needed.

Busy little suburb of the Lower Mainland, it will take you an hour to drive into Vancouver due to excessive traffic all day long. Take the “skytrain” instead. Lots of parks and forests, up the mountains watch out for BEARS.

Coquitlam is about 15 minutes drive from Vancouver. The city has restaurants, stores, shops and everything else just like any other city. It seemed very clean and the property I stayed in was on the slope of a mountain that had great views of the forest and the lower lands. There was even a black bear strolling up the lot right next to our window while we were eating dinner.

Kook’s Cook is the best. An excellent Chinese restaurant in Coquitlam center.
Soup man and laundry service on Austin Ave great. Golden Boot is superb eats.

Ramada hotel take my security charges 150 cad online when i check out receptionist mr satish said your ammount will be refund in your bank account till now not return in my account this happen with me second time from this hotel
Mostly hotels not take security charges now these days some hotel security charges take but in cash when u check out he gave u security charges back to customer

This is not a Best Western hotel. When we first arrived into the parking lot there were only 4 vehicles (not normal for a large hotel), we then noticed that the hotel signs were covered in large blue sheets covering up the Best Western logos. The parking lot seemed odd because it was unkept (also not normal for Best Western Hotel).

Location was outstanding close to trains/buses less than an hour to Grandville Island! Staff were very nice and service was prompt. We had a view of the city skyline and walkable to breakfast, coffee etc.... although there is a nice restaurant in the hotel. Parking was easy and monitored. We would definitely stay again.

The host is lovely and quick to respond on short notice booking. When I arrived at my room it was very clean and nicely displayed.
The washroom was very clean and had more than what your typical hotel room would have.
