CanadaThe hotel was clean, comfortable and in a great location - just off the main road. Having an onsite restaurant was also extremely convenient. It also happened to be one of the locals food recommendations when we asked around. By far the most memorable part of our stay was the staff. Everyone was friendly, accommodating and professional. In particular, one of the room service staff went above and beyond to track down an item we left in our room and ensure it got back to us safely.

It is a beautiful area. The people are friendly.
It is a beautiful area. The people are friendly. We loved stopping in at the small orchards with fruit stands, especially Margo's and Flamenco's. The meal at Busaba Thai was lovely as was the breakfast at Brunch cafe. The Creston Museum is an interesting place to visit if you enjoy history.
Overall the restaurants were about what you would expect for a small town. The prices were reasonable and the food was pretty ordinary. If you are looking for a touristy area with fine dining this town won't be for you.

Unfortunately the area was surrounded by wildfire smoke at...
Unfortunately the area was surrounded by wildfire smoke at the time of our stay. We weren't able to enjoy the views of the valley and mountains. We did enjoy the Saturday Market, visited a local winery. Be sure to go to Buffalo Coffee!

Creston is small, which i prefer, but everything i needed...
Creston is small, which i prefer, but everything i needed was close by. The area has an abundance of outdoor recreational activities.
The people there are friendly and helpful. Hiking and camping, my passion, are readily available in the Creston Valley

We went to Creston for a figure skating competition so...
We went to Creston for a figure skating competition so didn't see much other than the arena :) but we enjoyed our time there and did check out a coffee shop (Buffalo's) before we left which we liked!

We are familiar with Creston from several previous visits...
We are familiar with Creston from several previous visits spanning many years, with a camper, a motor home and motel stays. We have explored the surrounding area, the farmed countryside and appreciate local fruit and produce.
The drive from Creston to the Kootenay Lake ferry is a favourite.

Creston was a surprise.
Creston was a surprise. The town had much more facilities than we expected as couldn't find any hotels there to book but there were more motels and other accommodation there to cover the needs of the place. Lots of shops, theatre and other things to do there. Could have easily stayed more than one night. Great location when travelling from Kelowna and Calgary.

The location and outside area,.It was very peaceful, relaxing and cool to sit outside on a hot day under the trees that provided a nice breeze. The owner was excellent as she responded quickly to any request and provided helpful info to places to go in and around Creston.

The evening we arrived, we had dinner at the hotel restaurant and it was quite good and the service was excellent. We left a generous tip. So unlike the next morning at breakfast, where the service was abysmal and the staff ignored us and were rude.

Comfortable room with coffee maker, microwave and fridge. Pet friendly accommodation, good location for our needs, some restaurants nearby like the fish and chip shop, A&W, and the Wee Grill not too far away. All good eateries.
