CanadaLocation good was close to every thing I will.stay. here again. Good people they gave our little dog respect. Left her in.the ro while getting a few things done came back and she was comfortable. And sleepy which told me she even liked her little holiday so than you so much for making our stay comfortable

UkraineGreat place! Located right at the entrance to the city, close to Tim Hortons, pizza, McDonald's, and shops. The room was clean, the pool was warm, and the staff were very friendly. I had my dog with me — they gave me a pet-friendly room with no problem. I’ll definitely come back

ChileSir Edgar is a little gem in Dauphin. It's a 100 year old house with all the charm you can imagine. Our host Cordell is super friendly and we enjoyed our conversations with him. The breakfast is remarkable and has great taste. There is a mini fridge, coffee machine, water (cold and hot) a TV and books in the living room.
This is our second year staying there and we are already making plans for next year as there are many attractions and activities nearby.
The room we choose is the main one with a terrace including a table and chairs, a main bed and a sofa bed in the room living room. A complete bathroom with shower door completes the experience.
The main room is facing the Main Street but it's quiet compared to city noises. There is a 7 eleven at 2 blocks and a Mr Mikes restaurant nearby with good options to lunch or dine.

We only stayed one night (checked in at 9pm), so didn't use...
We only stayed one night (checked in at 9pm), so didn't use any of the fascilities other than the hottub in the room and the Smittys restaurant for breakfast. Bed was comfortable, room and bathroom were very clean. Our room was at the end of the building, so got the brunt of the rain storm and high winds that rattled the outdoor flashing. My mom's suite was mid building and was not affected by the storm. Our suite, had it not been for the storm, would have been very quite. (This storm was severe causing major flooding in Dauphin, but we were perfectly safe). I would stay here again, especially if for multiple nights.

Nice little town, friendly and helpful people.
Nice little town, friendly and helpful people. The area seems promising but we left a bit too early to get to know the place better.
The pioneer museum was just opening, nice place to learn about the area.

Dauphin is a fairly compact town and it is easy to get...
Dauphin is a fairly compact town and it is easy to get anywhere from anywhere else in town in less than ten minutes. There are a few attractions in town such as Fort Dauphin Museum, the Railway Museum. The restaurant scene has a few chains (McDonald’s, Tim Hortons, Mr Mike’s) as well as locally owned places like Adelina’s Pizza, Corinna’s) plus a craft beer tap room (Obsolete Brewery). There is one movie theatre that is community owned and is very modern.
The downside? Most businesses, including most non chain restaurants are closed on Mondays.

There was nothing special about the room but it was clean...
There was nothing special about the room but it was clean which is very important, it was not fancy but we enjoyed the stay. This is not the first time we stayed there. The most important thing for me was that it is pet friendly.

Newer hotel in the area.
Newer hotel in the area. At check in we were offered free hot potato soup and fresh popped popcorn to take to our room!! Nice view of a mountain in the horizon from our room. Best unexpected hotel experience yet!

Everything about staying here was wonderful. Exceeding my expectations by leaps and bounds. The breakfasts were delicious and healthy, the room was like a dream and the host was perfect (friendly, accommodating, interesting, thoughtful...). I loved my room (the suite) so much I didn't want to leave. I was staying over in Dauphin because my mother was having surgery and I couldn't have had a more comforting place to return to in the evening and or more relaxing and nourishing in the mornings before heading off to the hospital.

The location is great, it's just on the edge of town with Tim Hortons and Gas stations close by. They have a pool area, lounge, fitness room and a Smittys restaurant all attached to the hotel. The staff were amazing, friendly and very generous when we needed something! And a bonus how each room has a second door right outside to your own parking stall. You don't even have to carry your stuff far to get to your room.
The price was very affordable, I would stay here again if I'm ever in the area!

Room was good for the price. Beds were soft but comfortable.
Bathroom was good. It would be nice to have had a hand rail in the tub. It was a perfect hotel, linked to Smitty’s restaurant..for a short stay. The pool looked nice but it was full of kids having a pizza party.
