The breakfast was very good. Better than expected. Everytthing was very delicious and we liked the verity and the option for non dairy milk. Only thing I would suggest is adding a bit more fresh vegetables like salads or just tomatoes/cucumbers. Overall really good!! The pool was awesome and the kids had tons if fun especially from the slide.

I was a little scared when I read some of the critical reviews. But we were very impressed. The place was very clean and nicely updated.The breakfast wasn't hot, but there was a wide selection of options. Things like waffles, choices of bread and muffins, yogurt, hard-boiled eggs, fruit, and a variety of cereals. Two 4 slice toasters. I bothered the staff a couple of times, and they were very accommodating and prompt and extremely pleasant. Definitely would stay here again. When we were there, they were full to compassity because Steinbach hosted the Grand Slam of Curling. The Southeast Event Center is very impressive.

The staff were extremely friendly, professional and helpful. The pool was perfect for our children (4 & 7 years old). The restaraunts in the hotel were extremely convenient. The kitchen staff and servers took our son's metabolic condition (with strict diet restrictions) very seriously and ensured his safety by checking all of the ingredients in everything he was served. Its not often when we eat out do we feel that secure in knowing his food will be safe, but we were very reassured that they took it seriously. So thank you especially to kitchen staff and our servers!!!

My shower had no hot water but I ate it because I had the hot tub room which was awesome. It was so nice to just have a bath instead of waiting to deal with it. The room was exceptional, I highly recommend booking the hot tub room. It is huge and the bed is super comfy. There was enough room to do yoga comfortably. There is a place to eat all meals in the hotel too which is convenient.

Great place! Located right at the entrance to the city, close to Tim Hortons, pizza, McDonald's, and shops. The room was clean, the pool was warm, and the staff were very friendly. I had my dog with me — they gave me a pet-friendly room with no problem. I’ll definitely come back

While I was not able to stay long this time, I can say from several part experiences thé Winnipeg is a great place to pause for a day while travelling thé trans Canada. Lots of must see places like thé Forks and the Museum of Human Rights

If you are going by train I would highly recommend booking a single berth cabin. When booking accommodation do detailed research and avoid Bear Country Inn. The better accommodation don’t seem to advertise on booking.com. Don’t go on a Tundra Buggy tour, they are destroying the tundra, you are better off going in a 4x4 with a local guide

we were there for grand daughters dance recital. we have visited Brandon several times. She did well in dance performances. we ate at boston pizza and mcdonalds We have been to Brandon several times so know our way around it i easy to drive around.

We only stayed one night (checked in at 9pm), so didn't use any of the fascilities other than the hottub in the room and the Smittys restaurant for breakfast. Bed was comfortable, room and bathroom were very clean. Our room was at the end of the building, so got the brunt of the rain storm and high winds that rattled the outdoor flashing. My mom's suite was mid building and was not affected by the storm. Our suite, had it not been for the storm, would have been very quite. (This storm was severe causing major flooding in Dauphin, but we were perfectly safe). I would stay here again, especially if for multiple nights.

Winnipeg is a lovely city and definitely worth visiting at...

Winnipeg is a lovely city and definitely worth visiting at least once! I recommend exploring The Forks, enjoying a walk through Assiniboine Park, visiting the zoo, and discovering the Manitoba Museum with its impressive historic ship. Winnipeg has plenty to offer for all ages!

Churchill is a small friendly town so don't expect anything fancy. It is all about nature & for that alone it is an awesome vacation. Add friendly residents & visitors and your stay will be the relaxation you need. Weather can change so be prepared for maybe a couple of seasons in one day at least in the summer. There are a couple of grocery stores, a museum, gift shops & restaurants. I was there for 5 full days & experienced everything I wanted: Belugas, Polar Bears & the Aurora. Could I have stayed longer even though I got to see/do everything I wanted? Yes!

We were there for the Manitoba Winter Fair.

We were there for the Manitoba Winter Fair. Took in 2 full days and did not do any exploring. I thought some of the old brick houses that we went by on the way to the fair were fantastic. To me they were beautiful. We did not see much of Brandon as a whole but I would return to see the city. We ate out only one evening and ate at Lee’s Buffet. We thought it was excellent. We thought it was very easy to get around in the city, but we only travelled back and forth from hotel to event.

Nice little town, friendly and helpful people. The area seems promising but we left a bit too early to get to know the place better. The pioneer museum was just opening, nice place to learn about the area.

It was such a magical place!

It was such a magical place! Hundreds of belugas in the estuary when we went with seanorth tours and our guide was tara. She was amazing and very knowledgable. Saw 4 polar bears on our wildlife tour with discover churchill. Dave was also very knowlegable and we learned about the area and the wildlife. Great stories by both our guides. So much art and history around town with the murals and small museum. Great place to check out for souvenirs is the museum. Take your passport to the postoffice and they will stamp it for free with a polar bear stamp! There are so many incredible murals around town whuch is another story you will hear about. Everyone will tell you to be careful when walking around town because of the polar bears. Listen to their advise. Signs everywhere but everyone in town is so friendly and helpful. Check out the legion. Great place to hang with the locals and other travellers, play pool ,darts , bingo sometimes they have baking for sale. We bought 2 cakes which were delish and some jam. Ate at seaport a couple times great food and had pizza at dancing bear. Both were pretty reasonable and food was very good. Overall amazing experience!
