The Groundswell Pub and Inn was a wonderful place to stay. Clean, comfortable, great beds, great shower, really good food in the pub (far superior to most pub offerings). It was a place where locals and visitors are made to feel welcome. The owners and staff were switched-on and friendly. I was impressed with how hard they worked and how well they listened and accommodated out-of-the-ordinary requests. I would highly recommend The Groundswell. / Two add-ones: the large deck attached to the pub with a waterfront view was lovely. The huge lawn stretching right down to the water would be a great place for children to play.

Bras d'Or Lakes Inn has a fitness center, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in St. Peter's.

The cabin was very well cared for, very clean, and nicely decorated. What a cute place! It was just the right size for us, and there were lots of nice little touches, like twinkle lights, a privacy curtain for the bed, books to read, etc. The kitchen was well equipped. There was privacy from the other cabins. Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful. There was a nice dock where we could sit, read, and enjoy the view.
