Exactly as in photos. Very clean. It is a motel so expect a motel, but it has everything you need. BBQ outside, small playground and nice coffee in the rooms. Family ate very nice. Right on the entry to the park. If staying there be sure to go to Erikas bakery for breakfast or a cake!

All the staff were super kind, accommodating and attentive. Nice rooms. Pleasantly surprised by the breakfast quality (eggs, ham/sausage, waffle iron on top of standard continental). Also an awesome fancy cappuccino/coffee/hot chocolate/french vanilla machine. Has a pool, small gym, and just generally everything was nice, new and clean. Definitely recommend. Just a quick 5 min car ride away from most things.

I go to Dwight to "recharge my batteries".

I go to Dwight to "recharge my batteries". It's quiet - it's close to Algonquin Park but also close to Huntsville if you feel the need to be around people. I enjoy travelling during the shoulder season. There is a small grocery/butcher/drug store within an easy walk. I was amazed at the variety they had in such a small space and very helpful if you have any questions. If you feel the need to stay "connected" there is strong wifi available.

Dwight is located on Lake of Bays, has very nice Dwight public sandy beach. There's also very easy access to trails, lakes, Oxtongue Rapids and Algonquin, Arrowhead and Ragged Falls Provincial Parks. Dwight is about 20 minutes from Huntsville, the nearest town with nice restaurants and shopping.

I loved my stay in Dwight and would highly recommend Muskoka...

I loved my stay in Dwight and would highly recommend Muskoka Waterfront Resort - mostly because of the privacy, peace and quiet. The staff are so kind and attentive, the resort is warm and friendly and I look forward to returning one day soon!

We stayed two nights in Dwight, exploring the lakes on the area by jetski in the day. There are lots of lakes yo explore. All are really pretty. We would have liked to have had more time to paddle and swim. We went for a hike in the rain in Algonquin Park on our last partial day.

The resort is an older style motel/hotel that has been beautifully maintained. We loved the exceptionally friendly and helpful front staff as well as the proximity to both Huntsville and the west gate of Algonquin Park. Our room was spacious and very clean. And while we didn't have the best weather for swimming, we did enjoy the lovely gardens.
