It was my first time visiting the lake in winter and it was amazing. Thank you for the cozy cabin, very quiet and clean. The cleaner came to leave me tea and extra blankets even though it was night time. Very friendly service. Beautiful view and easy access to the lake. My family and friends will definitely be back in the summer.

Lovely hosts, they even gave me an upgraded cabin because there was not too much to do because of the weather so that i at least had a fireplace in my cabin.

I go to Dwight to "recharge my batteries".

I go to Dwight to "recharge my batteries". It's quiet - it's close to Algonquin Park but also close to Huntsville if you feel the need to be around people. I enjoy travelling during the shoulder season. There is a small grocery/butcher/drug store within an easy walk. I was amazed at the variety they had in such a small space and very helpful if you have any questions. If you feel the need to stay "connected" there is strong wifi available.

Dwight is located on Lake of Bays, has very nice Dwight public sandy beach. There's also very easy access to trails, lakes, Oxtongue Rapids and Algonquin, Arrowhead and Ragged Falls Provincial Parks. Dwight is about 20 minutes from Huntsville, the nearest town with nice restaurants and shopping.

I loved my stay in Dwight and would highly recommend Muskoka...

I loved my stay in Dwight and would highly recommend Muskoka Waterfront Resort - mostly because of the privacy, peace and quiet. The staff are so kind and attentive, the resort is warm and friendly and I look forward to returning one day soon!

We stayed two nights in Dwight, exploring the lakes on the area by jetski in the day. There are lots of lakes yo explore. All are really pretty. We would have liked to have had more time to paddle and swim. We went for a hike in the rain in Algonquin Park on our last partial day.

Liked the bed and kitchen facilities. Very clean . Coffee maker not great . Wished there was towel rack but managed without. Host was very friendly and helpful. Would go again and would recommend the place to friends and family

The garden and lake really make this hotel a cut above the average. Lovely, well kept, location to sit and relax, or barbecue, when not out exploring the neighbourhood. My son loved being able to take the supplied canoes out on the lake (even at night). The family who run the hotel are helpful and friendly. The room we had (twin and single bed) was a bit cramped but was clean and had everything we needed and in line with what I would expect for the price paid.

The communication was top notch. The place is in a beautiful forest, very quiet place. The near village of Dwight offers all basic things one might need. we enjoyed BBQ, good distance to explore Algonquin park.The house is well equipped 😊 we had a great time here.

This was the first of five places I stopped during my trip around Ontario, where I slept well, felt close to nature, swam in a rushing river, and ran near a lake. My family was also happy. A place worth recommending.
