This was our last night in Cape Breton and it couldn't have ended on a better note. The staff were welcoming, the rooms were clean and quiet. It was obvious that the owners took pride in their establishment. It was so convenient for us that we could just pop over to the pub for a meal complete with live music. The meal was by far the best I had while visiting the area. I regret not having the opportunity to personally give this review to the owners before we left. After working in tourism for many years I am aware that often it is only the negative that people remember and take with them but honestly I have only positive things to say about this place.I would highly recommend Groundswell Pub and Inn and look forward to going back.

The cabin was very well cared for, very clean, and nicely decorated. What a cute place! It was just the right size for us, and there were lots of nice little touches, like twinkle lights, a privacy curtain for the bed, books to read, etc. The kitchen was well equipped. There was privacy from the other cabins. Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful. There was a nice dock where we could sit, read, and enjoy the view.

Overlooking the Bras d’Or Lakes and an 18-hole golf course, Dundee Resort and Golf Club boasts an indoor and an outdoor seasonal pool and restaurant.

Clean, cozy, tidy, and neat. the room was exactly what we wanted. Nice having a kitchenette. Also, the location provided us the perfect jumping off location to explore CB Island.
