New hotel so everything was fresh and clean.

New hotel so everything was fresh and clean. Showers were great and rooms and beds comfortable. We ate there 3 times and although a smaller menu food was good and pleasantly presented. Service was attentive. Great stop over going to St Andrews by the Sea. Our friends had a tiny dog and loved the dog rooms with outside access from the room.

On my next trip to the Magdalen Islands, I'll definitely choose the Amsterdam Inn hotel because I have an electric car, there are several NB Power charging stations on site, and the restaurant is very good.

Good parking, nice clean room.

Good parking, nice clean room. Staff a bit stiff and autistic. Free coffee and muffins. Good for a stopover, close to the highway. Breakfast, no buffet, little choice or variety. There was no option for eggs or yogurt.

It was great that the hotel was very clean and had a good restaurant. There's not much nearby. Perfect as a stopover. Be sure to inquire about accessibility needs, such as heights, support rails, etc. This was still tiring for me, as I needed my husband's help with everything. Normally, I'm still fairly independent.

A very small, pretty town, but you can see everything in 5 minutes. There's a potato museum that seems geared towards children, just outside the town, next to a hotel, not far from the highway exit. After all, it's the town where McCain's headquarters are located... Otherwise, I didn't find anything really to do; even the covered bridge was closed (for renovations?).
