The Rodeway Inn hotel is ideally located on Route 144, minutes away from the U.S. border and Loring Air Force Base. This St. We arrived to find out that I had made reservations for myself, my husband and our two granddaughters, for the previous night - therefore my night’s charge had been paid for but not used yet. In most situations I realize that I should have paid for another night’s stay. But thanks to the amazing Customer Service skills and understanding of Stacey at the Front Desk; and for the good fortune that there had been a recent cancelation we were given our one night accommodation at no additional cost to us. I cannot express enough how grateful e were to be treated like humans who make errors in booking online….Thank you Stacey - and to your reception staff who accommodated us in the best way!
Within 1.2 mi of Grand Falls Gorge, this B&B features an on-site hot tub and full hot breakfast. Each spacious guest room is appointed with an private bathroom. Breakfasts were excellent. Resident pets were friendly and very well behaved. Host was very pleasant and welcoming. Had the weather been a little better the deck, with chairs outside our room would have been a good place to relax.
Just 1 minute drive from the U.S. border, this motel in Saint-Léonard, New Brunswick, features a heated outdoor pool. All rooms and cottages include free high speed Wi-Fi. excellent location just shortly off of main highway- check in gentleman was very friendly and efficient- room was spotless - older motel but well maintained- very comfy beds and pillows- lots of hot water and deep tub for soaking- berts pizza and restaurant across the street and very good- would stay here again when travelling- careful not to go to far past motel as this is the border crossing for united states
Offering a fitness center and complimentary continental breakfast, Crown Park Inn Caribou Caribou is located in Caribou, Maine. Free Wi-Fi access is available. Set on a hilltop and overlooking the St. John River, the Castle Inn is 2625 feet from Perth-Andover Village. Originally built in 1936, it features an indoor pool, hot tub, fitness center and free... Beautiful place to just relax and put your feet up sweet spot for a night getaway.
I would not use this location if you have bad knees or difficulty with stairs as the room I had was on the second floor with no elevator and the tall, wide staircase was a challenge for me, especially when carrying up luggage.
Grand Falls needs a makeover. It is tired. CBD under construction so maybe it will have some attraction afterwards. Access and egress from the highway to B&B was totally weird. Not the B&B fault - city / province fault. Restaurant meal we had was bland and not at all memorable in any way. They apparently have no seasonings or spices in the kitchen. And it was apparently the best place in town. I will be leaving restaurant review on their site.
A lovely town, with a great main street with lots of places to eat. Although the Falls don't have a lot of water on at this time of year (we were told the best time is Spring), the rocks were still stunning to look at.
What we liked most was the staff, the impeccably, clean room, the breakfast choices were great, and so and so on!! Having been here before and enjoyed the beautiful falls but this time we missed the water,but.....the rocks looked great!!!!
We stayed in Grand Falls en route from St. Andrews, New Brunswick to Quebec City. Main reason was to split the drive in 2 trips. The Falls and Gorge are nice, but apart from that there is not so much to do. Or I did not see it ;-)
The falls / gorge are amazing, especially in the spring. There is a zip-line over the gorge for those looking for adventure. Scenic walking trails are available in the area of the falls, as well as several restaurants and places to shop. Main Street is beautifully decorated in the summer time and there is a genuine feeling of small town hospitality.
I think this B&B is the best place to stay in Grand Falls. The House is near to the Broadway with all restaurants and shops. Wonderful and very nice decoratet house. I would like to recommend to do the walk along the gorge, which ist 5 minutes by car from this B&B. There is no traffic around the house, so you will sleep very well. The breakfast ist delicious. Thank you!
